The prefect's bathroom :Þ

Do you think Harry used it this year? When he used it in GoF, he thought it was worth being prefect to get such a luxurious room! And now that both Ron and Hermione were prefect, I wonder if they gave the password to Harry! : )
If I was him, I'd try almost anything to get that password, because that bath was/is so cool with all the bubbles!

On another note, when Percy was prefect, he seemed to be using his authority a lot more than Ron and Hermione. I wonder why.

well, he's percy, imean look at what he did in the latest book. he's power hungry, so when he has power, he's going to exploit it. as for the bathroom, i hope he tried to use it otherwise i would have to consider him increadibly insane. to be quite honest i had actually forgot about it till reading this thread. i wonder if jkr did too...

Harry probably did use it! although, he had alot on his plate...it might have slipped his mind just like it did JK's!

If I were Harry, I think I would probably avoid that bathroom for the simple fact that Moaning Myrtle admitted to spying on people taking baths in there!

very true, you never know what she is going to do, but then again, wasn't she only there to help him w/ whatever number task it was that he was on? and another thing, she could really go to whatever bathroom she wanted, not just the prefects', so, esencially, if she wanted to spy on people she could do it anywhere.

If I were Harry, I would try and use the prefects bathroom all the time! I'm sure that Ron would be fine with it, but Hermione might see it differently.

I think that Percy using his "prefect abilities" more than others was foreshadowing how he would act once he was out of school.

maybe the bathroom has a more significant role in the book...i mean, Moaning Myrtle could have come into the Gryffindor Boys bathing room if she really wanted to spy on Harry. However, JKR chose to use this awesome bathing room, when just a simple normal dorm shower would have worked...i smell some forshadowing...hmmmmm...but what could it be? Perhaps the painting on the wall of the Mermaid? Or some secret passage way unfound by Fred and George or the Mauraders? Hmmmm....thinking....hmmmm....still thinking, nope, nothing yet...but i still think there might be something there...
