Anyways, well done everyone. :) I hope we can make a quiz as good as this one!

Oh, I'm not leaving this topic till I've seen Paul eat that sandwich!

I don't care what it says, everyone has exams and other stuff. When asked to look for answers and location you spend days searching for answers, grab the page number and book version.

Its seriously disapointing to get every answer correct and loose a full mark on chapter numbers...its not like its easy to remember to get them because you don't even remember the book has chapters unless the page you are viewing is the first or last page of a chapter and you can see the chapter header on the page.

I think Chapter numbers is just a very mean addition designed to catch everyone out because anyone who gets right page number automatically gets right chapter so its not fair to loose marks on it unless you actually state the wrong number and then thats just mean anyway, a way to trip people up with useless information. I have no issues at all with needing to provide page number and book version but chapters is just useless and mean.

Well, I think it's useless too but we'll remember for the next time. Also, we also got a quarter point less for each question, so we did quite well, actually. Don't worry Sonkem, we'll do better next time.

Yes, a lot of Ravenclaws (including your truly) had exams as well, but we managed to include the right chapter numbers.
It's not about it being useless, which, I'll admit, it is, but about it having been specifically stated to include those chapter numbers (and it has been stated at other, previous, quizes as well; for example, see the quiz of march 9th).

But let's agree that we cross the chapter numbers from the answers for future quizzes.

Chapter numbers were brought in as being required for part of the answers to help ensure that answers weren't just looked up on a search engine. Actually, page numbers were first introduced for this reason - chapter numbers were added as a requirement due to the fact that books in different countries have different numbers of pages (and it appears from the answers provided in this quiz, even the UK must have different versions of paperbacks as UK page numbers quoted don't match my own books). I didn't intend to be "mean" to anyone and all Houses were marked based on the rules given.

Chomp (err, sorry, just in the middle of the word-sandwich). :)

Although it'll be more difficult for the aims in the first sentence of this post to be upheld due to differing versions of the books, I've no problem with the requirement for chapter numbers to be left out for future quizzes if the majority are in agreement.

Bite, Chomp...hey, these word sandwiches taste a bit like solid alphabet soup!
