Archives of Studio Ghibli - cooool!! What other anime is there?

Ive seen Princess Monoke, Spirited Away, Totoro and Laputa:castle in the sky. (i didnt like Laputa)

I am not very sure of the japanese titles for the movie since it was written in chinese and I'll translate to English literally (quite hard!)

Valley of Wind, Castle in Sky, Grave of fireflies, Totoro, Witch something (no idea what it means in chinese either except for the witch!), Fairytale of years (sounds funny), flying red pig hero :lol:

, everchanging raccoon, listen attentively (arh???), and finally Princess Mononoke.

Lol, terrible translation eh?

Oh my god! I love 12kingdoms... It's sooooooo good, even though some of t he episode is so confusing with all those names sound alike.. :???:

But it's really good after Youko ascended to the throne.

Eh grave of fireflies? is it good? i saw it lying around on bittorent but never got it.. and now it disappear altogether :-?

Petshop of Horrors is a good manga series beside the Vampire Game... I'm trying to collect new ones without spending too much money on manga that are not good at all. Any idea?? :???:

Grave of fireflies is a 1988 anime movie about two siblings struggle for survival in the war-torn Japan during WW II. One of the most heart-wrenching story I've ever seen.

I had no idea Grave of the Fireflies was so old! It only just came out over here... (that may have just been the dvd release, but then why would the papers & magazines be publishing reviews?)

I'm looking for especially fantasy and comedy.. It's my favorite... I don't like tragedy(too much tears)and romance(too predictable).... Anything that have comedy in it is good! :grin:

I like laughing to ease the stress of tests.. :grin:

Pretear - is great for com. and romance (and Fruit Basket of course)

Yeah - 12 kingdoms is the coolest XD I still have to watch that last DVD I got (lol, Im trying to drag watching them after all the money I spent)

Fruit Basket - I decided to hold off watching anime. I want to read the released Manga volumes first.

I just finished watching Yami no Matsuei and it was amazingly interesting...well except the part about the pervert doctor and his obessesion with Tsuzuki. He sent cold shivers down my spine... :eekie:

The characters are so handsome!!! No wonder, it is a bit on the shounen ai side :lol:

Iwish they would show more girly anime on our Anime channel!!! Its really unfair - depending on what cable company surves ur area - u get a different set of anime series.

And just 1 state over from me they are showing Pretear and Kaleido Star and loads of others!!! not fair!!!!!!!

I don't think Animesuki has it. It has 13 episodes and the manga is still ongoing except it hasn't published a new manga for close to 2,3 years.
I can imagine the horror look on YnM's fans :eek:

I finished Fruit Basket vol 1!!! lol, it took me a while.

Choki, have u read Suikoden manga? They are just starting to publish it here (i know its been out for a while) I wanna read it!!!!! >_< I may have to wait for fruit basket vol2 and read this first!!!

Oh and I found out they will be showing Pretear soon in my state!!! yeeeeey XD

And in the latest Newtype magazine they sent us a poster and a DVD sample of new DiGiCharat ^^ lol, i actually watched the whole first series o_o ! I though it was really wako-funny ^^ Did u ever see it CHoki?
