Eh??? Metal Gear Solid is a RPG. You play Solid Snake on an one man infiltration mission, trying to rescue the hostages and disarm Metal Gear.
That's role playing, right?

Nope  but I heard a lot about Crono Series and Valkyrie Profile

Spyro the dragon...I played the sample version and it was one hell of a dizzy game to play especially when you rotate the view!!!

A lot of the time they do end up in PC format... Unless they are licenced only for one console and that's it. But the company that owns the rights to the game may feel that releasing the game on other platforms would increase revenue for that particular title. Althought sometimes the game is not as successful on the other platforms because it may have been designed with one in mind, and the conversion to others is less than satisfactory. But if the decision is made from the beginning to make the game for multiple platforms, then the end product will be much better than if the decision was made after the original game was produced and based only on popularity or revenue.

Blah blah blah. But what would i know? I only own a Nintendo 64 and that's sitting on a shelf, not doing anything. I was really best at Zelda: Ocarina of time. I loved that game! But now I mainly play PC sim PC games: The sims, age of empires, age of mythology, zoo tycoon.... I also downloaded an emulator for old snes games, but i mainly play mario bros 3 cos i used to play it when i was young and it's fun.

My sister, Dark_Phoenix, has a PS2... She owns Kingdom Hearts, HP&COS, Monkey Island (not sure the entire title) and the Eye Toy. I used to borrow a PS2 from the video store my sister worked at, and my favourite game in the world was Grand Theft Auto, then Vice City as well.

Yeah, Metal Gear Solid is not an RPG as far as I know.

Ferrus - Disgaea is a PSII game. Most of the RPG do not end up in a PC format.

U guys should definitely invest in PSII if u like RPG games. Majority (lol, like 89%) of RPGs come out on Playstation ^-^

Oh and they have a new game now La Pucelle - I bought it yesterday, it looks sooo cool XD (its super funny, and the main character is a girl for once)

Choki - u should get Chrono Cross!!!! ^-^ Valkyrie Profile is super good too - but its a "rare" game so its more expensive. <_<'

Yeah, I know PS2 is the best machine right now in terms of variety of games, the problem is that I´m lacking the capital to make the investment *sigh* anyway, when summer is ver iI might have enough money saved to buy one.

Yeah...I mean it is not that worth to buy a PS II now when PS III is going to come out in a few years time (maybe 1 or 2)

Lol, I'm busy with my anime watching, manga reading and games playing and of course...my course work!!! I doubt I have enough time to invest on playing more games

Well, Im sorta skeptical with PS3. THere are soo many PSII games in works right now - i highly doubt its gonna come out as yearly as 2 years. And it definitely wont come out in 1 year. <_<'

TIme - yeah. I got PSII as soon as it came out (at that point I had time for it... in college) but now I rarely play. But I still think its the best thing!!! ^-^
