Triplet Trouble!!!

Postby Evil Wizard Petting Zoo » Tuesday 4 May 2004 1:32:57am

Alrighty, there is this set of triplet guys that I have known since I was 5. They are Matt, Michael, and Max, they're all beautiful, but have completely different personalities!! Here's my predicament: I dated Max the beginning of Junior year. I would describe his personality as cool and relaxed. I dated Matt Junior year during Mardi Gras (Feb-March). He is the bad boy of the three, we had a lot of fun but got mad when I wouldn't do him. Come to find out he really really liked me but I didn't like him THAT much. And here's my problem now: Michael really likes me, and he is the good guy and the cutest of the three. He's going into the Navy on a full Microbiology scholarship and he's just an all-around good guy. And I have recently reformed myself so I don't drink and smoke anymore, I think that's why he likes me now. But, for some reason, I don't like Michael at all. I'm ready to start dating good guys, but I just don't like him. My mom really wants me to date him too. So how do I let him know that I'm not interested without completely alienating him. Because whenever I had broken it off with Max and Matt, they didn't talk to me for like the longest time. So what can I do??? :???:

he sounds like a good guy and i think your problem is that you asociate him to the othe two, who you didn't like.Or you are more for the "bad boy" judjing from the other two

Honey, if you don't like him you don't like him end of story. My friend has just recently been in a situation where she was messing about with someone who had a girlfriend, and cos he said he was never going to leave his girlfriend she started seeing another lad 'as a distraction'. This lad was really lovely, a really nice gentlemen, never tried it on, picked her up, took her everywhere. But at the end of the day she didn't fancy him, and she's just had to call it off because he was getting attached.
It's cruel to go out with someone you don't want because they'll always feel more for you than you do for them. Mum's always want there 'little girls' (cos that's how she'll always see you!) to go out with 'nice' boys, so you can't go out with him just because of you mum saying so.

I think the best thing you can do is be honest as you can with him without hurting his feelings. You could use the fact that he's joining the navy and you wouldnt' get to see him that much, so it wouldn't be fair on either of you. But you'd really like to stay in touch as friends cos you think he's a nice bloke.
Lads don't like it when their ego's get dented, that's why the other two fell out with you for a while, but if you let this lad think that it's all for the best he should be fine.
Hope everything works out okay. Make sure you let us know.
;)
