Which is your favorite book in the series?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

I like the 5th one best! I think that the books are getting better, and the only exception I see in this rule is "COS", because I found it a bit "less good" than the others...

My favorite book is the 3rd. It was the book that hooked me. :-)
I really want to see the movie. I like the third one because of the twists on the plot. You know Sirius was a criminal and after all the criminal was wormtail. Sirius became my favorite character 8)
BUT, I must recnognize that the 4th is the best so far.

My least fav book is the first one to be honest. It seemed too rushed, for me. But it was good, too.

I love Prisoner of Azkaban because its so unpredictable and the twist at the end - Sirius being innocent & Scabbers being Wormtail & guilty is just so surprising!!! :D Is great.

Contrary to popularity...My favorite is the fifth. The books are getting better as the series moves along. In each book, the characters progress and mature a little more. Harry's thoughts and feelings also become more complex, which i happen to like. The second is my least favorite, i dont know why.

I like them all, for different reasons, but I´m with Centaur Lord in that the second was the least good one.

I've always liked CoS the best, but I wouldn't be able to give you a proper explanation for it... I would probably say the OotP is my least favourite, but that's just because I have a hard time watching people get mad, whether it's Harry Potter or some remote character in a movie.

It's has taken me less and less time to read the books as they've come out, so I guess I don't dislike it that much. The books are gripping me more and more as the characters progress.

I like poa the most because sirius is really cool, and harry finds someone to talk (some kind of father...).
I like the second one the least, i don´t know why...

may be because Harry is perceived as an anti-hero for the most of the book? Thats why I didnt like it.

Welcome to BaO D.A. Member! I totally agree with you. Throughtout the whole book, we know Harry is innocent, and yet Umbridge treates him like cr*p and he gets in loads of trouble because of him. it really frusterated me!
