Bellatrix pain

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Bellatrix is powerful , determined and extremely loyal to Voldemort. she has guts to openly scoff the ministry at her trial

* sigh * wont it be great to have her on DD's side?

no wait!
she is twisted , sadistic and cruel. she tortured a kid with an expression of glee on her face :x she deserves to die the most painful death.

i think we will have an exciting duel between her and some good guy soon

the dementors apparently did nothing to her over fourteen years. come to think of it, even Dolohov and the others were pretty normal when "most people go mad within weeks". maybe the dementors give the DE's special treatment.....

I am not so sure I agree with that Groo. Bellitrix seemed pretty mad to me in the Department of Mysteries when Harry told them about Voldemort being a mudblood. She went kind of wacko at that point.

The other thing is that I do not believe that the dementors care one bit for who you are.
It is stated that they care not whether a prisoner is innocent. They just want to suck the life out of you period; whether you be a DE or just some poor shmuck stuck in wizard prison.

[quote="Phinea Rogue" --> it would be funny if those DEs we know only the last names of were female. In my language we distinguish male and female surnames (eg. Black for a man, but Blackova, for a woman) and they all have a male surname, so it would be a bit of a shock to the translator...[/quote]

Wow, I'm impressed! Though in my language we too, we have 2 genders, I haven't thought about it yet  . Reasons:
1) Our translator isn't as lucide as you. :D
2) Voldie makes Death Eaters obey any order and blind obedience to senseless orders is more a male characteristics. I don't want to offend anyone but I heard this statement in a documentary. :-?

Well, before considering other female DE, I thought Bella was very special just because she was unique woman among the DE. 8)
I don't like her madness - Azkaban has affected her self-control but not her wizarding skills
I think she makes strong impression 8) , before OoP was out I was re-reading GoF - pages describing her trial and she was occupating my mind ...
Bella is deffinitely sth. special and Voldie is aware of that. He wouldn't have saved her otherwise. Look, he left all the (supposingly) male Death Eaters ink the Ministry because they weren't useful for him at the moment. I wonder what powers are hidden in Bella ???
To all Neville's supporters: I don't think Neville deserves ill parents and pain she caused him but Bella still fascinates me!

Bella fasinates me. She is obviously a strong individual but yet she blindly follows orders. She is passionate and yet impartial. She bewilders me and I love to hate her.

Yes, that's it, she really is fascinating. I wonder why Voldemort didn't leave her there with the other DEs (at the Ministery). It could be because she's so loyal to him or because she's important to him, she seems to be truly strong. I'd love to see her in Azkaban again in the end.

i dont see why LV should leave her to be arrested whn he had recently rescued her. she might have failed him, but she was a loyal DE, talented or not doesnt matter. i am sure he would have done the same if it was Jugson or Avery in her place

Nope, Groo, I disagree - Bella will have duel with female auror that can parry her - Tonks :P
It's true that Bella dealt with Tonks in the Ministry but Tonks is a fresh auror. Maybe Moody will teach her a lot of stuff, as Voldie had instructed Bella in the Dark Arts.

Would you really like to see Bella in Azkaban? :???: I mean, those of you who don't like her? Because she hasn't suffered much in Azkaban - her beauty vanished :( , but not her skills 8)
So in or out of Azkaban, she might still be dangerous! I think she'll die in combat, as she has always wanted (since she met Voldie;).

when i said good guy, i meant a person on the good side, it could be male or female. however i find Tonks to take care of Bellatrix a little unlikely. maybe Mcgonagall.

as for Bella in Azkaban, as i said before, it is quite surprising that all the escaped DEs were unaffected by the Dementors. and also, we havent seen the death penalty being used so far in the wizarding world. DEs like Bella and Dolohov deserved death

Death penalty

Postby Reverie Revenge » Monday 3 May 2004 6:15:04pm

Yes, Groo, there is a kind of death penalty. Remember that when Voldemort was on rise aurors were told not to kill DE if possible. But, this means if not possible, just kill them. Ok, this is not really a penalty, but close. Esp. when Crouch went beyond his authorisations and ordered the Aurors to kill even if it wasn't necessary. So Crouch sort of  legalized  death penalty.

I think Dementor's kiss is even worse than death. It means livin on, without identity, without memories ... maybe this will be Bella's final punishment. I think she'd rather kill herself than lose her memories about Neville's parents. :evil grin:
No, in fact she wouldn't. She'd never kill herself for such a banal reason, she has to die for Voldie

McGonagal is :double jump: competent :double jump: but now she's old and injured and I doubt we'll see her in combat. I think she'd contribute more by passing her knowlegde to others - it means she'll be teacher like she used to be for exactly 39 yrs :)

...very keen on revenge aren't you lol...
Bella and Tonks dueling will more than likely happen, but maybe not till the last book. I reckon that'd be quite cool. I reckon Bella, unfortunately, is probably a more skilled witch, but Tonks has other abilities that may help.
I think Neville's time will come soon, whatever might happen then... I dunno.

One of my favorite fantasies is Neville coming after Bellatrix. In the mddle of the fight, he shoves a seed in her arm that grows into this terrible plant that infects its owner and leaves them immoble and suffering for all of eternity while keeping them alive and in perfect health. A kind of perfect revenge that leaves Neville without blood guilt and keeps Bellatrix from ever making anyone else suffer again.
