Yep, Groo is right, there are threads missing in the fanfic area and also in the word games area (the corrupt wish game has dissapeared, and maybe a few more). Also the fanfic area says that the last post was posted in 1970, so I´m assuming there´s something wrong :D .

I made a thread about this in the Mod section too.
Yes there are several threads and posts missing all over the place.
I have also PM'd Paul about it so I am sure he will sort things out soon. There are usually backups to draw from so hopefully when Paul see's all of these messages he can restore everything.

BTW what is missing from the FF area?
I'll bet the author is less than pleased. :evil:

Sorry again about all this...I think it's the first time Li'l Monster has actually eaten posts (or at least part of one of the cross-reference tables in the database). It seems that out of over 70,000 posts, 83 cross-references may have been affected. If they relate to the last post in a particular thread, the thread has become invisible (although it can be recovered in whole or in part depending on the cross-reference table).

I've fixed (as far as possible) all the threads that people have given specific details of...if there are others missing (for example the fan fic thread), please could you give me the title of the thread (if you can remember it) or a phrase (as unique as possible) from one of the posts. For example I found the Spring Dance by remembering Sacred Guardian's "fashionably late" phrase. :)

Thanks..and sorry. :oops:

Eek - I've checked but cant find anything at all. With all of the problems so far, at least the title of the topic has been retrievable but I can't even find a title about wizarding currencies in the database. It looks like li'l monster has totally eaten it. I'm sorry - she seems to have had a large appetite this week.

That reminds me - I must go down to hogseade to get some more monster food tomorrow...don't want her getting hungry or who knows what she may decide to take a bit out of next!

* Searches around Li'l monster's food tray *

Aha - found it. She's taken a nibble from the end of the thread (you'll need to click on page 47 instead of 48 to currently get to the latest posts), but I've put it back where it belongs now. :-)

* Gives Li'l Monster some monster food in the hope that it'll keep her from eating any more of the forum *

I dunno if Li'l Monster got out again, or if it's just my computer acting freakish, but I can't get to the last page of "The Person Below Me" thread.

Th sorting hat thread does that sometimes....its when the last person to post gets the last message on the current page so the thread gets confused and tells us the next page has been started but when you try to view it there are no posts there.

I suggest you read the second last page of the thread and take it from there....
