Does anyone know who is likely to play Black and Lupin?

Haven't the foggiest idea, though I do know who I wouldn't want cast as Black or Lupin:

Harry Connick Jr.
Sean Connery.


Sean Connery is not going near my beloved Harry Potter!!!

David Thewlis is meant to be Remus Lupin

of course im not certain about any of that......specially the dumbledore and lupin ones cos the site seems to think they r still rumours.....

i am alomst sure the lupin one is confirmed. almost. not sure about dumbledore. i've also heard the same for aunt marge and tom. so, i back up all of sonkem's data. i don't know about black...

well i got the black casting from here originally...somebody posted a thread about it ages ago....its been on newsround too so u can almost guarantee its true...same with the lupin one i hear......newsround is the best source for harry potter news......one of the presenters is totally nutty about it and always gets interviews with rowling and stuff

I'm really anxious to see what Lupin and Sirius look like. I just don't want someone familar cast...I want someone that we haven't seen much before, so when you see the person you don't go "hey that's harry connick jr!" or something like that. But hopefully they'll make a good choice.

yeah. i think it's better when they're not somebody famous. but then again, i don't knwo a lot of british actors, so none of them appear famous for me! lol. kind of contradictory, eh?

my innitial reaction was yikes but on second thoughts i think he might actually make a very good lupin...

whoever casts these movies does a most excellent job.....

yeah, i agree with sonkem. i think he looks a little old, too, tho. even tho lupin and black are harry's parents' age, i always imagined them looking younger... but i think he'll be a very realistic lupin.
