How many times have u read the books?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

I haven't really kept count but i think its about 8 for each...heres the reason i started if anyone wonders...(im gonna write the whole story b/c im very bored)
It all started when i got suspended from school for having a cell phone in late November 2003. I got 2 days. Anyways being super bored i rented some movies and a couple of them happened to be the hp movies to see what all the hype was about (I actually used to think hp was the dumbest thing ever but that was bc i had never read a page of it before)
I watched the hp movies first and i was like omg this is awesome! i was hungry for more so i decided to read all 5 books. luckily my mom is a hp freak and had all of them already. so if yall believe it, i read all 5 books(thats like a zillion pages) in 2 days! i got up at 6am (and i hate getting up early) just to read, and i would go nonstop except for meals and i ate them in bed while reading hp.

haha, and I thought I was the weirdest person here... :-)

I finished OotP in about 30 hours, but I have a good excuse for it taking me so long... my one-and-a-half year old did not understand the importance of Momma's reading Harry Potter. How rude.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who rereads constantly. I've read the first like probably 8 times, the 2nd 8, the 3rd 5, the fourth 12, and the fifth 3. I think i'm gonna start on the fifth again. During last summer i read all four(at the time) in four days. That fourth book is hard to get through in one day, you need some free time.

the last line of the previous chapter was the revelation that peter Pettigrew was Scabbers. in the whole chapter Lupin explains about James and co. which i am always thrilled to read (even Snape's Worst Memory)
and the last line of this chapter is "Snape removed the invisibility cloak over him" :o that makes this chapter one of the most exciting in the whole series :D

Groo,
I feel that way about a chapter in PoA. The Boggart in the Wardrobe.
My girls had me re-read that chapter a couple of times before moving on when I read the books to them. :D

yeah even that chapter was awesome. basically PoA was a read-infinite-times book and you could just open any page and start reading with enjoyment :)

Well I read the first one, like... 6 or 7 times. Same for OoP and GoF. 10 times CoS.

And I read PoA 28 times (I counted! :D) 'cause it's my favorite one. It's the best of all!!!
