I was up at three o'clock this morning reading the Chamber of Secrets because, well, because that's just what I do, and I had a few questions...
1. HOW do they administer Mandrake juice to a ghost?
2. Is there some significance to Penelope Clearwater's attack by the baselisk (she's attacked the same time as Hermione, and I understand, Hermione's a main character, but it just seems SO glossed over)?
3. Dumbledore seems to know instinctively that Lucius Malfoy was responsible for Ginny getting her hands on the diary, and he warns Malfoy that severe action will be taken if anymore of Voldemort's old school items find their way into innocent hands again... Is this a clue that there are other former items that could be dangerous in a similar or different way? When Dumbledore is talking to Malfoy, a lot of emphasis is put on the eye contact... is Dumbledore using Legillimens (sp?)?
4. What happened with that Muggle Protection Act Arthur Weasley has been working on?
5. HOW DO THEY ADMINISTER MANDRAKE JUICE TO A GHOST???!!!??? (in case you can't tell, this is the one that is driving me the most batty)
