Hey, maybe it will, I mean he became a perfect and he won the Quididitch cup so he is half way there, thats a good point, maybe his will come true

So did I, I thought at the end of OotP when Harry and Malfoy are talking in the entrance hall, they are talking about Malfoys father being in prison, cos Malfoy mentions that there are no Dementors there anymore so his father and the others will be out in no time. So in other words they are still there. Aren't they??

I've always kind of thought that what Ron sees in the Mirror of Erised will eventually become his reality... unfortunately, I think that Harry's will be, too (as in, he will not survive in book 7) but I try not to think about that...

You're kidding right? He definitely is reasponsable and when he truly belives in something nobody can convince him in the other but the things he belives in aren't always right!!! He's definitely not for MoM

I'm just playin, percy wouldn't do a very good job. Most people know he was with fudge. Which is where Arthur has a good chance. People know he supported Dumbledore from the start, so they'll see his credibility and good judgement. He does seem a little goofy to be a minister.

I don't agree at all with this staement.
I think Arthur is a strong character with a good head on his shoulders.
He does have a passion for muggle things but that does not make him goofy.
Remember that while plugs and electric tooth brushes to "us" seem common and certianly nothing to get excited over; Arthur has a real effinity for them because he sees these things as marvolous inventions used to make up for the fact that we muggles don't have magical solutions to everyday problems like turning on a light or cleaning our teeth, or making a bit of toast

Arthur's not. He's a strong character, all of his children are powerful and passionate (even Percy). I personally think Percy's getting a bad rap. But that's beside the point. Arthur is powerful, he's able to fix really big problems in just a few minutes (the Dursley's living room, for example). He's not pompous and he's not boring, like other ministers of magic seem to be (I don't like Fudge, even before OotP, when we don't know how stuck-on-himself he is).

Something else to consider... Dumbledore seems to be much like Arthur, as far as kookiness goes. I mean, what kind of respectable person is fascinated with lemon drops (or sherbet lemon or whatever they're called in the UK?)... what kind of respectable person talks about full bladders at a dance? Yet, no one questions his power or authority, even when we rarely see him have to use it.

Arthur's a good man, but he's not a wartime MoM. The MoM needs to be tough, resourceful, powerful, and willing to take losses (however painful they might be) in order to accomplish the job.

Therefore my recommendation for Minister of Magic is...

Alastor Moody

He's a top-notch Auror with firsthand experience in catching DEs. He's a general, able to focus resources towards the most important goal facing the MoM. He's smart, tough, and will do what it takes to win.
