:) :-) Thanks, Joto. Being the forum's central meeting place, moderation in the Great Hall is really appreciated, so most definitely yes, I'm very pleased to make you Moderator there - a very fine, well-deserved and suitable place for our new Head Boy here at BaO :)

Congratulations Jotomicron!

And I'm very happy to say that our new Head Girl, Meg Boyd, has just begun a similarly highly responsible place as Ravenclaw Prefect. Chosen and approved by the existing active Prefects in Ravenclaw, Meg is certainly an excellent and sterling choice.

The sound of flapping wings is heard high above the tables of the Great Hall. The magnificent white eagle swoops into a dive, then a small adjustment of its wings takes it into a rise again, just as a glimmering object drops from its talons. The object heads straight toward Meg Boyd who reaches out to catch it. A quick grasp in the air, and it's in Meg's possession. She takes a look and sees inscribed a majestic P on her new Prefect badge!

Hi Paul! i couldn't help noticing the number of prefects of each house.

They stand as;
Gryffindor 4
Hufflepuff 3
Ravenclaw 4
Slytherin 5

As Hufflepuff has less prefects, is it possible that i become one too? please! In addition to my mod duties in the movies sections of course!

Yay, most certainly, Nobby! I think you'll make a fab Prefect. That means we've now got a full compliment of Prefects in Hufflepuff again too. Thanks for volunteering for the place!

* Watches an open widow as 7 small dragons fly through in an arrow formation, circle around the Great Hall and exit through the same window. A few seconds later a pure white eagle enters, circles along the same path taken by the dragons, then hovers above Nobby. A shining object drops from its claws and the eagle gently flies off, out through the open window. Nobby looks at the shining object that he has caught and sees the bold P on his new Prefect badge! *

If ya need any help anywhere else I wouldn't mind helping out...It's not the most popular of places but there are only two moderators in the Other Fan Fiction and Writing and movie forums...

Thanks, Amon Rê. The Movies section is probably going to get a lot busier in less than 3 months time so, in advance of the rush, it would be really nice to get a full compliment of Moderators there. I'm therefore very happy to make you Movies Moderator along with Won and Nobby!

Cool, Nobby - congratulations! At the moment it is indeed very quiet in the Movies section, but as Paul mentioned, it will pick up when the third film comes out! :grin:

As the Theories section is my most visited on this forum, i would like to volunteer for being a moderator there if i am considered fit for the post.

i would like to add that i havent been a moderator before anywhere and thats why i am keen to be one, which led to this urge.

Thanks Groo...yes, I think you'd make an excellent Moderator! Don't worry about not having been one before as there's a Moderators Private Forum which you'll find at the bottom of the main forum index page. It's packed full of existing advice and where you can discuss things with other Mods and little me, and ask any questions that may come to mind about Moderating stuff.

Happy to say things are all set up for you now, Groo - welcome to the Magical Marvel of Moderating here at BaO! I really hope you enjoy being a Mod...and keep in mind that your help is truly appreciated and ensures the assistance of keeping the forum running and thriving. :)
