why didn't Paul IP ban him? jeez...now we must go through this all over again (not blaming you, Paul, just saying that a ban isn't a ban unless it's an IP ban!)
I'd not used an IP ban as some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) put their users on a shared IP number. An IP ban can risk other people who share an IP number to also be banned (not that there is anyone here who does, but I'm thinking about possible future members). In this case it wouldn't have made any difference anyway, as the IP number that he used when posting under the new Hmm name was a different IP to any others that he'd used previously. Including the Hmm post, he's used 8 different IP numbers. That's not to say he's been purposefully changing things, it's just the way some ISPs work - you'll be put on a different IP each time you sign online through your dialup connection, depending on which IP numbers are busy or not. In fact it's the way the company I use to access the internet works, and incidentally the reason why I've had to write this post twice

as I'd been thrown offline in the middle of writing this the first time, and the forum uses IP checking (after you'e initially signed on) to allow you to post in the same session.

Paul: sorry to upset your party, but to be fair - I only spoke my opinion without abusing anyone. The abuses have all been from the people on your side of the room.
Sorry for being unclear. I respect differences of opinion, but, in addition to the way other members have expressed their serious concerns about your posts, when I referred to rule 1 on banning you I was particularly referring to the "libellous" part of that rule. As I've mentioned elsewhere on the forum recently, I prefer to err on the side of caution when it comes to risks of legal problems on the board, and there's no way I'm going to let the board fall into a quagmire of legal difficulties. I'm not sure whether you're familiar with the Nancy Stouffer case but accusing someone of plagiarism can be a serious matter. You may find this page interesting, and it describes my feelings about the matter pretty well. I haven't re-banned or IP banned you for now, simply because I'd like to give you the dignity of disappearing or moving on naturally, but any further mention of "plagiarism" and I'll have to reban you and IP ban you as many times as it takes.
I'd never heard that coin thing that Cokey Kitty mentioned but I really like the wisdom of that. Spend your coin wisely.
