If you had to choose one of these girls to be with Draco...

...would it be Hermione or Ginny?

I was cruising online and noticed that there are, in fact, Ginny/Draco shippers and Hermione/Draco shippers. Contrary to my name, I'm not a Draco/Ginny shipper...I simply really like the character of Ginny and I appreciate what Malfoy brings to the story (and hey, I felt a little more sympathy towards him when I got introduced to Malfoy, Sr. in CoS! ).

So, if you had to choose, who would it be and why? Both are relatively unlikely, but you never know. I like that both Ginny and Hermione have no problems putting Malfoy in his place...unlike yucky Pansy who simpers at his every syllable. Hermione challenges Draco by being so clever, and Ginny (as proven in book 5) is a lot tougher than she looks...probably growing up as the youngest child (and girl!) of a family of 6 boys!

They are certainly pairings that interest me in the respect that either pairing would REALLY test Harry and Ron. Perhaps a small part of me still believes Draco will be redeemed in the end. What are your thoughts?

I'd say Ginny, for Hermione,as mudblood, probably wouldn't survive her first encounter with Lucius. Just imagine his reaction if Draco brought home anyone other than a pureblood Slytherin...

Hmmm, I said if you HAD to choose, not giving an option, but oh well. Hermione is getting stronger as a witch all the time...who knows, eventually Lucius may have to watch out for HER!

I went for Ginny because in my head I see Ron and Hermione and it will never change. If I wasn't a R&H shipper I would go for Hermione because it would be more interesting that way. And Ginny & Draco - interesting too - Ron would kill first draco, than Ginny - interesting

I dont see Draco with a Weasly (one of the worst pure-blood families according to Sirus in the OOTP) or witha mudblood...therefore i didnt place a vote and I dont think he will pick one of them. Hes got to pick a slythern.

I'd choose Ginny, cause she seems the sort of girl that would plce Draco in the right spot... Who knows if this happen and, because of it, Draco does something goog... (thinking...)

i think that ginny would be the best match for draco of the two as she seems far more compassionate and could bring him round from the way of thinking that he has at the moment.
and well he probably wouldnt start speaking to hermione as she isnt a pure blood, unlike ginny. i know that he doesnt like the weasley's but it's one less thing for him to hold against her

Draco will end up with Pansy or Mullicient. Slytherins tend to stick together.
Who knows mayb Draco and Ginny, not Hermione though- she's muggleborn (Lucius would not allow it or Ginny to think of it)

I didn't place a vote, but you know I just can't pick one...both just seem kinda wrong for me you know...if anything I think Draco would pull a breakfast club being "the criminal" and marry the "princess" being lavendar or parvati...

LOL! I think this thread wins the title of being my most misunderstood ever. Personally, I can't see either of them working at all, but I am mystified at websites devoted to Hermione/Draco or Ginny/Draco...so I was wondering, in this crowd, if you HAD to choose one or the other, who would it be? Outside of this situation, I think Draco probably has more chemistry with the Giant Squid or Dobby.
