Dream Roles

Postby LadySnape » Friday 15 November 2002 8:43:15pm

Okay, so I've heard Daniel Radcliffe's dream role is James Bond. (007) If you were an actor/actress, what would your dream role be? I don't mean HP or LOTR. Pick something else.

Mine would be to play Alice from Alice In Wonderland. That's my all-time favorite novel. Even more so than the HP & LOTR series.

Ack, I never knew you were an Alice freak! I'm one of the biggest Alice fans alive!

That was my favourite book when I was very little.

Anyway--I'd be Claidi from the book Wolf Tower by Tanith Lee. It would be a very easy role to play, because she's my clone in another universe. Honestly, it's scary--I had to do a few double-takes while reading.

"Is this ME talking, or her?"

Sometimes I couldn't figure it out. ;)

I'd like to be Jaenelle from the books the Black Jewels Trilogy and Regina from The Silver Wolf.

Ooh, I'm no the only fan of Belle, I see. I watched Beauty and the Beast constantly when I was younger, too. And she was one of my favorite characters becuase she was a brunette (did I spell that right?) and not a blonde like all the other charcters always popping off...

Anyway, another dream role for me would be Lyra in His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass). I love the books and her character is really interesting, becuase she learns so much in the course of the story. On one hand, the trilogy might make an awesome movie, but it's probably better when read, and I hate it when movies don't stay true to books. And I guess the religous aspects of the books cause some controversy or something...or maybe not...well, in any case, I think Lyra would be a cool role. (All I need is a Will now...) ;)

I agree with her being a brunette. to many blonde princesses, Cinderella, Slepping Beauty, etc.

I would LOVE to be the character Ripley Channing in the Three Sisters Island trilogy books by Nora Roberts. She's a real tough-*** and I would love to be as confident as her. She's got her flaws though, let me tell you, and she doesn't trust easy. Anyways, that's who MY dream role would be.

Hmmm...I wonder too! I'm sure he has--if that's his dream role and all.

We're probably going to see Treasure Planet, since today is my birthday. It looks okay--better than Lilo & Stitch, anyway. We'll see how it is...
