The Sorting Hat

The Sorting Hat Speaks

Postby Paul » Sunday 4 January 2004 10:37:56pm

"I sense there's a few attempts to influence me" said the sorting Hat as it was placed on Senorita pickle's head. "Rest assured I'll try my best to be objective and place you in the House that suits you rather than be swayed ". The Sorting Hat gave what seemed to be a smile to a the students in the Great Hall who had been trying their best to influence its decision. :)..., "Hmmm, I get the sense that this one is a person who understands and empathses with people well....very possibly a Hufflepuff trait. She's smart and studious. Yet she's not afraid to be different and stand out from the crowd either. There's an independent mind in this one's head - someone who'll stand up for what's right, even against those who may be more powerful. Yes, there's mettle in the spirit here - it has to be....GRYFFINDOR!"
.....................................

Congratulations Senorita Pickle! The Fat Lady will now allow you to enter your Common Room - Hope you'll enjoy being in Gryffindor House!

:( drat, subliminal messages obviously do not work on the sorting hat. The hat is much too clever for muggle mayhem...perhaps I should go to the library and learn some charms or enchantments that may work next time. I knew that "subliminal" stuff those muggles go on about must be hogwash...hrmph.

Congrats S-Pickle! You will have fun with your fellow Gryffindors.

Whew, hey, could I be in Gryffindor? I was thinking about asking for Slytherin, but I thought Gryffindor might suit me better.

Sure! Once you reach 25 posts, just PM any of the gryffindor prefects (me, Gwared, Hermione Weasley and Gower) and we will be pleased to sort you into Gryffindor. I am almost online everyday :o

Then again, if you wish to be sorted into other houses or by the sorting hat, you can post your request here again!

Or you could join wise and old Ravenclaw! :P

Nah, the best thing is not to let anyone here influence you, but join the house that you think suits you best!
Good luck and enjoy BaO!

Hey,we in Gryffindor could have some new active members too, but we can not,and should not tell anybody where to join.I think that all houses are great, and that new member wont make a mistake if he/she joins any of the houses...So it's best to let the member to decide,or the sorting hat.I think it doesn't matter how many members a house has,it's the persons in it that count. In Gryffindor only few of us is really active, but we're having a great time anyway

HEHEHE  its always nice t have a warm (wet actually, thanks for the bucket of water ;) ).

You`re going to have to wait wjile i write some posts  (bit impatient aren´t you ;) ).

And anyway, I probably let the hat do the job. (You`re going to have to use an Engourgment charm on it to make it fit me ;) )

From what I've read, the hat is generally a reliable way to be sorted, though, you can't go wrong with any house! Good luck and have fun at BaO! :D
