i think it will be draco malfoy to kill someone.mainly bc if you look at all the evidence draco does whatever his father says or asks.I mean really i highly doubt that lucious will disappear i think that it will be an inside hogwarts type thing you know.

I like that theory about Ginny! After all, Lucius gave her the diary on purpose.
About the pure-blood thing: Tom Riddle's father was a muggle, that left his mother when he found out that she was witch, and put little Tom in an orphanage. That's part of the reason for his hatred for muggles. Tom mother, however, was a descendent of Salazar Slytherin. As said in OotP, the only remaining pure blood families are the Malfoys, the Lestranges, the Weasleys and until Sirius's death the Blacks. All four families are interlinked with each other. So, if the Slytherin family line was pure until to the point at which Tom Riddel's mother gave birth to a 'mudblood', it's quite likely that they are also related to the other four families. So, the Ginny being the heir of Slytherin could be possible.
But there are some problems:

1. The Chamber of secrets had been opened before Ginny did when she was possesed by LV. Who did it, if Tom isn't the true heir of S.?
2. If Ginny is related to S., then the other Weasley children must be as well. The heir of S. needs to speak parseltongue, and Ron obvously doesn't...

It actually says in GoF and before that I think, but it definately says in GoF that LV is Half-Blood. His mother was a witch andhis father was a muggle. This is why LV(Tom) chose Harry as his equal. As DD says in OotP, that LV chose a half-blood like himself

Tom Riddle was definitely the one who opened the chamber of secrets 50 yrs ago. He was the descendent of Slytherin (no doubt on that).
Ginny Weasley opened the chamber of secrets 50 yrs later, but how could she be the descendent of Slytherin too?
Unless...the Weasleys are related to Voldemort (since he is the last remaining descendent of Slytherin)...but it is unlikely
And how did Ginny actually opened the chamber of secrets? From what I understand, Harry spoke in parseltongue to open the entrance so perhaps Ginny being possessed by Voldemort spoke in parseltongue too...meaning it wasn't her but Voldemort who opened the chamber in CoS...
(confusing eh? hehe)

Who will kill? My guess is Cho...well maybe she attempts to kill but fails...it's just my guess

Just to clarify things a bit...
The Weasley's cant be related to Voldemort because at the end of the CoS, Dumbledore says that Tom Riddle (Voldemort) IS the last remaining descendant of Slytherin. Pretty much everything Dumbledore says is right, so im ready to beleive him. :D I dont know what page this is on, but its after they come out of the chamber and everyone is talking to Dumbledore. (actually, i dont know if its when everyone is talking, or just harry and dumbledore, but i know its there somewhere).

Anyone in book could kill if they had a reason. And there we be reason in a final battle where the OotP, the Aurors, the teachers and the DA are against LV, the DE and LV's allies. Neville will kill to advenge his family. At the center of the battle, LV and DD. Somehow LV will beat DD but not be able to kill him. Then Harry will step in to face off against LV for one last time. I doubt Harry will lose, as it is a childrens book. However, he could martyr himself in order to stop LV once and for all. A chilling ending, but it might be needed depending on how JKR writes the last two books. Plus Harry could meet up with James and Lily ans Sirius (JKR won't write about the wizard afterlife, but it will be assumed). But Harry must kill LV somehow, or else he must convert him to the Good Side (like in Return of the Jedi)

Somehow i doubt that Voldemort can "come back". that would be way too much like Star Wars. He also just seems way too evil. Plus, in star wars, Darth Vader is trying to EITHER kill OR convert him to the dark side. In Harry Potter, Voldemort is just trying to kill him, so there wont be any of this "ill never join you...blah blah blah" stuff. I think in the end, Harry will end up killing him. Harry might not kill him directly, but Voldemort will die.

First, about the Ginny thing:
In the Death Room, Harry and Luna hear voices behind the veil. They look gazed and became sort of hypnotized. It meybe related to Death or some other related thing. The strange is that, besides Harry, Luna and Neville (they had all seen dead people before OotP), also Ginny looks gazed. This makes me wonder why have they been hypnotized there! Ginny (as much as I know) has never seen a death and if she has, she pretend not to see Thestrals very well!

About the topic: I absolutely think Harry will kill Voldemort; not directly, if it could be avoided, though.
But also DD, Hagrid, Snape! I think these are the good guys that will kill.

I think he tried to convert Harry in SS/PS...

Hm...I don't know how that happened, but in the above posting, quote and not-quote should be reversed....sorry!

Hmm, in PS/SS i never thought he was trying to convert him, i thought he was just trying to distract Harry so he would give him the stone. Maybe i misinterpreted it, but thats what i thought.
