educate rachi on ootp!

hi! i'm rather new, and have only read one book... could anyone give poor rachi a summary of what has happened since book one?

I don’t want to tell you what happened in the books… you really should take your time and read them. Someone else might give you a brief overview, and I’d truly like to read it. I don’t know how on earth someone could summarize Harry Potter. What could you leave out? Nothing! We’re finding the small details are sometimes the most important. There is so much… and then you read it again and there’s still more.

I have to admit that I am a little jealous. Here you have finished one book and you have four more instantly at your disposal. None of us here have that option. We are all stuck in an impatient holding pattern awaiting the next book. Enjoy reading the books. Skip nothing and when you’re finished… come back, for you will have lots of questions and ideas to discuss.

How come rachi isn't bursting to read the next four books? Is she trying to set some sort of record for how long she can keep away from them?

As everyone else has said before me, I suggest that if you do want to find out about the books, read them! Read them all! It's well worth your time. Believe it or not, we aren't your minions, so we can't do all the hard work for you . I think this thread has run its course, therefore, I'll be locking it.
