How many times have u read the books?

Postby snuffles360uk » Saturday 12 October 2002 7:59:57pm

I wanna know how many times people have read all the Harry Potter books.

I've read them all way over ten times I should imagen its more like 15 times now. I've read them that many times I've lost count. I once read the whole set 6 times in a row straight after each other!
So how many times have u read the books??

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Sorcerer's)--9
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets--7
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban--7
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire--6, but this counts the two times I listened to it all the way through on audio--so technically, it's 4.

:)

My uncle has a hard time understanding how I'd EVER want to read them that many times...

He just doesn't know!!

Yes I am telling the truth.

1- 24
2- 36
3- 25
4- 12

If you would like to wonder how I managed, please know I'm a fast reader, have no social life whatsoever, and have been waiting two years for BK 5, which I intend to read 50 times over in compensation.

You are crazy, Quicksilver  Honestly
As for me, I read the books not more than 2 times and I also listened to the audio versions about 2 times.

For me, three times, all the way through. I'll read them all again as each new movie comes out. Reading them any more than that is, to me, overkill - as there are so very, very, very many other books out there that are worth reading. But hey, that's just me - everyone read them however often they're comfortable with. :D

Cheers,

I always amange to read the books all in a row, and probably about 7 or 8 times by now...

Just a quick qn to other people reading them more than once...
I always read before I go to sleep in bed, and I'm finding that due to such familiarity with the books, they tend to make me fall alseep after about 10-15 pages? Anyone else?

I haven't read the books a ton of times, but more than any other books that I've re-read.

SS- 3
CoS- 3
PoA- 4
GoF- 2

I've read PoA the most, it's my favorite. :)
