* barry cautiously opens the box*

What appears to be a small blue cloud emerges

Look when you reach out to it it shrinks so you can hold it and if you ep it with your wand it makes it invisible to everyone but you. but i don't know WHAT it is or does

Hmmm....

*finds her magnifying glass under a pile of paper and 'Honeyduke's Best' wrappers, and studies the cloud more closely*

You weren't kidding when you said this was an oddity....

*walks to the back of the shop to the bookshelves and heaves down a thick leatherbound book. SHe flicks through the pages, occasionally saying 'uh huh' and 'ok..'*

HA! I knew I'd seen something like this before!

Now, normally they're grey, Barry, but this is a Cloud Spirit Charm. What is it with you and the Native Americans? This is a charm used by their shamans in rain-making dances. It's a secret, so during the rituals it has to be invisible and held held to be shaken at the sky. Otherwise they normally stay hidden in the shaman's tent. But why is yours blue? I'm intrigued!

*goes into the upstairs of the shop which is her house*
*comes down with a camera*

This won't take a moment...

*Takes a picture of the cloud, and after a few moments thought takes a photo f pinky's morphing sand too*

Great! I should keep a photo diary, I'm sure the Convocation would love to see this!

*Flicks through her book again*

It would have to be the day after tomorrow, by Port-key again, unless you wanted to apparate, but you have to check exact co-ordinates !

*smiles brightly at choki and stands pen poised above the paper to write in the choice*

Oh! PP, you are indeed lucky...
*stares open mouthed at the sand which flutters down and shimmers into a circular heap on the table*

This is a specimen of the Morphing sands of Cyrinae, a province of Ancient Eygpt. You can either treat it as a pet, or as an ornament... I would suggest the ornament though. Or, if you wanted to sell it, I know a few collectors who would pay handsomely... but if I were you I'd keep it! It's so rare!

*keeps staring at the sand in wonder until she suddenly realises there is someone else there*

wowza!
i'll definately keep it as an ornament... a beautiful addition to my suite at the leaky couldron

thanks, caitlin! *disapparates*
