I am a Gryffindor, but when I put up a posting, it says I am a Muggle. Why is that?

The rank below your name depends on the number of posts you've made. After 10 posts you move up to "First Year Student in Witchcraft and Wizardy", then "Second Year" and so on up the scale in accordance with the <a href="http://www.broomsticksandowls.com/forum/faq.php#ranks">ranks table</a>.

I'd like to be another Gryffindor prefect.If it's no too much trouble. Or Ravenclaw prefct and be in that house post me back you decide ( PLEASE GRYFFINDOR!)

Hmmmm, Ravenclaw or Gryffindor...let me see...well, Gryffindor already has a lot of members...so maybe the Sorting Hat should put you in Ravenclaw to even up the numbers a little...but wait...I see your true desire is really Gryffindor, so...yes...GRYFFINDOR it is!

Regarding being a prefect, I'll put this one out to everyone, particularly existing prefects, and Gryffindor members. How many prefects should there be in each house? And if two or more prefects should be allowed per house, are Gryffindors OK with Rupert123 being a new prefect or should first chance go to existing Gryffindors?

I think two moderators per house would be alright, that way they can keep each other in check and make sure everything gets taken care of.

Yay - we've now at least one member in each house!

Chrestomanci - two prefects per house seems good, and there seem to have been no objections, so if Kool Kev and Rupert123 are still interested in being Prefects, just say and I'll upgrade you to your new positions

I'm waiting to hear back from KoolKev about being a Ravenclaw prefect but if I don't hear in the next 10 days then you'll get the place instead.

Even if you don't get the place of Ravenclaw prefect, there will probably be some more moderator places coming up at the end of the month, so whatever happens you'll probably get something here
