Just the other day, I was at a website, looking up some Harry Potter info, doing my thing, when I saw a section dedicated to swooning over Harry...

It blows my mind to think that the character of Harry Potter have become known for their s*x appeal...I, for one, never found myself thinking about Harry that way, Wood maybe, but that's another story.

And Draco (Tom Feltion more correctly...) went from "Oh my god, he's so adorable I just want to take him home in a jar" to "Oh my god, I think I hit on that guy in McDonalds one time..." It was insane...

Anyway, I just...wanted to see if anyone else was as amazed as I was...or if I am just, being myself again *heaven forbid 8) *

Yea, when people are first in the movies, they are like oh yey! Im in the movies. They get to look better beause the public is now viewing them, and they (and in some cases, their agents ) dont want them to look bad, so they go for their physical appeal. Its really annoying, cuz people can go from innocent to not-so-innocent (hehe Brittney Spears)

but yeah... if its a natural thing--fine, but if its a media push then it could have a real impact on the stars' growing up

for example, over here there's a push by some successful fashion magazine editors to have their 8 yr old daughter look sexy in photoshoots

i think that it so shocking that the actors from this movie are being launched into this sort of spotlight. I mean, I think the trio, they are all good kids ya know? But really, They wouldn't be the pick of the litter if they weren't famous. I mean, have any of you actually looked at Rupert Grint... Hmmm... he's no Brad Pitt (or even Tom Felton, I tell you that! ) But seriously, I think that is really annoying how much people are like idolizing these actors, not just from the HP movies, but all movies, I mean why is it such a big deal. And a lot of movie stars arent actually that attractive, and the only reason people swoon over them is because they are rich and famous.

Haha, thats an intresting way to look at it. Yea, like Jenifer lopez, some people I know (mostly hispanics, I dont mean to generalize, but its true in my school) love her for her $$$, and some for her body. But the riches do contrubute to the love of the character.

I know, i know, it just doesnt make sense. One day I just walked into the computer room and my sister (who is 15, almost 15) is sitting at the computer looking at this picture. And my first reaction was obviously not "oh! Harry Potter!" it was more like *why are you looking at p*rn?" but seriously, its not really necesssary to have a picture of Daniel Ratcliffe looking like that. Oh yeah, when did he shed his baby fat from the first 2 movies? Because I'm sure he didnt look like that underneat those robes!

My first reaction when i saw the pic was: what was he doing when he got that picture taken? Was he just posing or was it in a movie or something. Its wierd how they are doing this now when at first they are supposed to be doing a hp movie (which has none of that)

Ohmigod...that is SO creepy...I mean really people, how insanely gross is that?????? I mean, yeah he looked great and all, but seriously what the heck was he doing in that pose, very not G-Rated if you ask me...looks like it belongs in the XXX movie, "Wizards Gone Wild" or something...that is something that should not be out there...or maybe I am being silly cuz I don't really think of Daniel Radcliff as a s*x symbol like that...I mean Paul Walker is one thing, "Harry Potter" is another, you know??????

Mmm, Paul walker or Harry Potter? I think I choose Paul Walker. But that picture, it's not that he looks bad, it's just creepy because it's Harry Potter. It's like when I look at it (which has only been 2 or three times! I swear!) when I look at it, it's like I'm mesmerised. WOW... not cool. I'm of half a mind to believe its not even Daniel Radcliffe... more because its a little too wierd for that to be Harry Potter than I don't trust the website. but really, what if its not? I don't think it exactly has any real identifying features. just dark hair. *hopes its a fake pic* though... even if it was a fake pic... that doesn't change the fact that people loo at it because its supposed to be Dan. strange. Sometimes I wonder if the actors come tosites like these to see what people think of them, if I were an actor, that's what I would do ! But if Danny boy was looking at this thread, and that was really him, I wonder what his response to all this would be?
