Arf, Harry did think a lot over Ron being a Prefect, and in the end he seemed to be glad for his friend. Plus, from a "balance" point of view, as Ron is mainly the "faithful buddy" in the book, it seems fair that he is given lots of rewarding caps, to make up for everything befalling Harry.
