Me? a PREFECT?

Recently I got a private message from Lizzy Bennet that I should ask for prefect of Gryffindor IM NO JOKING here it is....
G-S,

Since you are doing such a good job modding in St. Mungo's (thanks for your care and advice ), I think (of course, this is my opinion) you should consider asking Paul if you can be the third Gryffindor prefect...I think you would do a good job , and you are certainly around enough to be able to sort people when Hermione Weasley and Neo cannot. Of course, it's entirely up to you...just wanted to give you my vote of confidence. Have a good weekend!

I saw I had a message and when i saw what it was....i was shocked and embarrassed yet happy at the same time. Thank you so much Lizzy for the vote of confidence. I dont know what everyone else will think but I think its mostly up to Paul and the other Gryffindors. If you honestly dont think I will do good.... then tell it to me straight. Right here. I want to know what everyone thinks. Thanks...and what a suprise this was! But I would be happy to be a prefect for Gryffindor. I would do my best!

Imagine my surprise when I saw a PM I wrote on a thread...I wasn't sure if I should be embarrassed or worried you were mad at me for writing it! Turns out, I shouldn't feel either.

I stand by what I wrote...I think you would make a great prefect for Gryffindor, but as I am neither a Gryffindor myself nor, by any means, Paul or 'the voice all must heed' , any other Gryffindor who feels up to the task, don't let my encouragement to G-S deter you!

It would be great to see all four houses with three prefects each (Gryffindor, right now, is the only one that doesn't have three at the moment) as that just makes things so much easier, particularly now with so many new members joining and with so many people taking different holidays and such. With three prefects, one person is always bound to be around enough to sort people in a timely manner.

I hope no one thinks they NEED my 'stamp of approval' to be a mod, but I don't mind speaking honestly when I feel someone would do a good job, but of course, the decision lies solely with the person, and the decision to make the person a mod is definitely PAUL'S. Glad I made you smile, G-S...looking forward to having a Prefect party in the moderators' forum once we have three mods per house!

I think you'd make a fab prefect G-S. You'd have to be the 4th prefect in Gryffindor though, as the 3rd one was requested on the 12th July (sorry but I took a few days to get the adjustments done). Actually 4 was a the probable maximum number of Moderators I'd been thinking about per forum (at least for the medium term future) and a possible next-step after getting 3 Moderators per forum, so if you would like to be an early 4th Prefect in Gryffindor, I'd be very happy to make an early exception for the Common Rooms in this instance seeing as there was the overlap in me getting things organised.

Awwwww, no one should feel bad! Good on you for being the new prefect, Gwared! And Gryffindor Student, I'm glad you're focus is in St. Mungo's--I appreciate all the attention! Yay for both of you! Yay for Gryffindors!
