I would love too...

Now..if you'd be so kind as to tell me what a mod is? Is it short for model? modem? module?

You see I don't think I quite fit into those catagories, you know after the accident where I drank polyjuice potion with a goat hair in...

*wanders off whistling the Harry Potter theme tune*

'Mod' stands for 'moderator' , and it's loads of fun! Just PM Paul for added measure, as he'll probably check those first, and let him know of your interest...you can mod up to three forums, and no more than three mods per forum...have a great time! :D

Actually, and I know this because it happened to me :), you're in luck, Sonkem...you CAN be a mod before you're here a month...I did...because Paul changed the rules to say that you must either be here a month OR have 'Fully Qualified Wizard' status (125 posts or more) in addition to a clean record with the forum, so Gwared DOES qualify! I became Ravenclaw's Prefect when I had only been here 2 and a half weeks, but I had over 125 posts, and this was when Paul decided to have 3 mods per forum, so I think, Sonkem, you've got yourself a mod to help in the Welcome area (and two other areas, if he so chooses, in addition to the welcome area) --yay for Gwared! :D

Thanks Hermione Weasley. Many congratulatons on becoming Gryffindor Prefect - and thanks for taking this additional place on the Mod Squad :) . The help in Gryffindor is particularly appreciated, especially with Neo being away temporarily. The Fat lady was starting to look a bit worried with no active Moderators. :)
Yay for Hermione Weasley, new Gryffindor Prefect.

Thank you, Paul, for making me a mod of the Book 5 'Characters' forum. I'll certainly try my best to do a good job.

And thank you, Lizzy, for recommending me. *hugs*

Once again, thanks, both of you!

Absolutely, 12321 - I'm enjoying sharing the Fan Fiction Forum with you and you're doing brilliantly as an active Moderator in Hufflepuff Common Room, so I think you'd be totally great as Moderator for the Quidditch forum...eek - more need for me to get the Quidditch games sorted. :) :-)

Very pleased therefore to make you Quidditch Forum. Sincere thanks for taking up the additional place, and for helping to ensure the forum continues to be a friendly and safely Moderated community for everyone.

I'm happy to announce that Gwared has also been made Moderator of the Welcome forum tonight. Congratulations and many thanks, Gwared.

Thanks Sonkem, actually my biggest worry was sorting but I worked out how to do that, and then read the thread telling me how to do it!

When Paul gets back from reading Book 5, I was wondering since I am officially a Fully Qualified Wizard, if I could be a moderator for the Quidditch forum?

I just finished reading Book 5 on Sunday...7.42 PM British Summer Time on 20th June 2003. :) :-) Can finally post in The Order of The Phoenix Section, although it'll probably take a few days before I can properly catch up overall on the board. :)

Thanks for offering to become Moderator of the Quidditch forum, FriarTuck - there's a lot I need to do to get everything exactly the way I want to with the Quidditch, but in due course it'll probably get a lot busier in there. :) It's therefore really appreciated that you wish to become Moderator and I'm very pleased to confirm you have the place! Sincere thanks for the help here on the board, and I hope that you'll find your new place as Moderator rewarding, interesting and fun.

Congratulations FriarTuck!
