Mrs Weasley vision.

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Mrs Weasley vision.

You know, when I was reading the book and got to that part where Harry walked in and saw Ron's dead body on the floor - my heart started to pound!!

The funny thing is, during books 1-4, I didn't care much for Ron, and jokingly I thought Oh may be he will die in this book - and I won't care.

BUT, when I read that sentance - I realized how much I wanted Ron to stay alive!!!!! I was like Nooooo!!!! And I realized how boring this book will be without him. I really really freaked out when he was "dead"

Did anyone else thought at that point that Ron would be the victim of book 5?

I now realize how nice it would've been not to know that fate of our dear Sirius in advance. because i already knew who was going to die, i obviously didn't think that, but looking back, i probably would've. I do seem to remember my pulse speeding up just a little though...

oh yeah, i thought hed died at that point and was most shocked and upset cos they arranged it so well in the british book

it came out so harry saw ron's 'dead' body at the bottom of a page and you had to turn the page over to see that it changed and that it was a boggart......brilliant stuff.....

I never liked Ron that that much through the first four books, but this book made me realize that he isnt that bad. I never really thought thst he was going to die, his character is too important to kill off with two more books to go, but when the boggart was acting like dead Ron I was like "Oh no! This is so sad!"

Really? Hm, I don't remember how it was in US edition, its just when my eyes hit that sentence I stoped and then someone called and I had to answer the phone, so there was this long pause for me and I was like noway! And then nothing made sence so I went back and reread that part trying to understand how he died.

LOL so i was really believed that he was the victim. And for a sec. I though that maybe smth posessed Mrs Weasley (cause she was holding her wand out) and she killed him!!

I'm still like that when I re-read the book even though I know what's going to happen. Like today I re-read CoS and the bit where Ron finds out Tom's taken his sister and he "slumps" down in the wardrobe they're hiding in made me feel so sad.

Grrr, I'm a man, not emotional at all...grrr!

When I read this, I thought Mrs. Weasly killed him. I thought, surely Fred and George deserved this more than Ron did.

Was anyone else bemused by who Mrs Weasley saw?
Ron, Bill, Mr Weasley, twins, Percy (despite their arguement) and Harry.
Obviously we don't know if she saw anyone before she saw Ron - but if she didn't then I'd probably be a bit upset if I were Ginny or Charlie and she saw Harry dead rather than them.

That sounds a bit morbid doesn't it.
Do I make sense or not?

You do make sense Hermy. Harry heard Mrs Weasley screaming as he ran up the stairs, so she might have seen Ginny and/or Charlie then before Harry entered the room and saw 'Ron' 'dead' on the floor.

Mind u, if that isnt what happened, im worried as to why Mrs Weasley would be more upset if Harry died than if Ginny or Charlie died.

She knows OF the prophesy, but only Dumbledore and Harry know the full contents of it. Most probably know nothing.[/u]

Hermy, I don't think it would go in order of who she cared about most, just have random pop ups of people she cared about dead. If Harry hadn't walked in, or before Harry walked in, I'm sure Ginny and Charlie has/would have shown up.

The boggart is supposed to show the individuals worst fear, the fact that Moly saw many things can only be explained one way I think; her worst fear is losing her family...she stated later that Harry was like a family member and thus I would imagine that Ginny and Charlie would have been shown before or after Harry. The fact that no one family member was shown singuarly means she loves them all equally and prehaps this justifially extends to Harry as he's never had a family members love.

But yes, if Charlie and Ginny were present the whole way through and saw Harry but not themselves I imagine it would be more than a little upsetting.

I was scared too when it says the Weasley is dead.. I don't think Mrs.Weasley didn't see Ginny or Charlie is dead. It's either Harry came in later after it'd happened or too early before it happens. book 2 when Ginny was taken to the chamber , she was crying and shaking madly. This proves she loves all her family members.

I'm really mad because i had to put the book down right before i got to that part, then i accidentally started reading again about a half a page later, so i missed that whole part and had to go back and re-read. it stunk 'cause there was no surpirse! Ah well. But i agree that Mrs. Weasly MUST have seen Ginny and Charlie before, cause she was already sobbing by the time Harry got there...
