OK, nationality really means the country stated on your passport.

How about this?
State you "place of birth"/ "nationality"/"residence"

Eg for me.

China/Australian/Australia

Perhaps you could elaborate on you race if necessary.
I'm a typical white Asain with black hair brown eyes etc. Anyone know a technical term for this?

No. Chinese may be the term for someone who was born in China; lives in China;or a citizen of China. A black person may be called a Chinese if he/she fits into any of these catagories. Race has nothing to do with a country.

I think Anglo-Saxon is a term for a race. Not sure about others.
American-Indians and Australian Aboriginies may be races but the terms make reference to countries, so I don't think they're race terms.(at lease not the technical terms)

so chinese is not considered a race....then perhaps what ppl consider the "chinese" to be would be the race "han"?

"Han" would be a further classification of the chinese race...but most chinese are of "Han" origins.
There are many different classification like the Han, Manchu, Miao (I'm not china-born so i dunno the rest).

My race is Chinese, and my nationality is Singaporean! So special hellos to Choki, June, and any other fellow Singaporeans! :)
