The Switch

((if have posted this in other places, so dont fret it is mine))

Harry looked over his cauldron, he couldn't believe Snape had paired him with Ferret Boy, Harry sighed as Snape told them the instructions to the potion.
Draco looked over at Hermoine,

"Why couldn't Snape pair me with her, " he thought "instead I get stuck with Potter!"

"Mr. Malfoy!" Snape snapped "Please pay attention!"

Draco blinked, he scowled as the Griffindors burst into laughter,
Draco mumbled something as he threw the last ingredient in the cauldron, Harry yelled something at Draco, as the cauldron started to smoke,

"What the......" Draco and Harry both walked closer to the cauldron when.........................

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Draco and Harry went flying back as the cauldron exploded,

"Harry!" Ron and Hermoine screamed, they both ran over to Harry

"Are you alright Harry?" Ron asked,

"What the...." Harry said he looks down at his hands and let out a yell,

"Harry," Hermoine said "You O.K."

Harry looked over at Draco, who was as white as he was,

"I think I’m gonna be sick".....................................

Harry and Draco both ran out of Potions, heading towards the nearest bathroom, they leaned over a sink and.......... *cough, cough*

Draco looked at Harry, "What the heck has happened?" he asked in a shaky voice.

Harry looked at Draco, "You think I should know Potter!!" he yelled "You think I like being...... you!!!!"

Draco um I mean Harry glared at Harry, I mean Draco

*this is gonna get confusing.......*

Then Ron came in, they both froze

"Hi Ron" Draco said, trying not to give the game away.

"You O.K. Harry?" he asked, not caring, or even noticing Harry.

Draco nodded then said, "Um... could you give me a minute with Ferret Boy"

Ron looked at Draco in disbelief, he then nodded seeing the glare in Harry’s eyes.

When Ron was gone both Harry and Draco breathed a sigh of relief,

"Look Potter" Draco started "We can't tell anyone about this, so we have to switch classes and I guess give each other our dorm passwords"

Harry looked at Draco then finally gave up "OK, but don't make me look bad"

Draco nodded "as long as you don't make me look to good"

They both agreed on this and gave each other the information needed to be one anther.

Ron was waiting outside, "Come on Harry" he said "It's getting late", he pulled Draco down the corridor towards the Griffindor common room...........

"Well" Harry said "Here goes...."

Harry walked towards the Slytherin common room, he used the password that Draco had given him and found himself surrounded by Slytherins saying

"Hey Malfoy, what did ya do to Potter this time?"

"How did the Potter experiment go"

OR

"Did Potter do anything to you, if he did I’ll kill him...."

Harry was shocked to think that this is what the Slytherins talk about, he mumbled something about being tired and headed for his um Dracos dorm.

"Come on tell us what happened?" someone Harry didn't know asked him, Harry lost his temper.

"Look!" he yelled "I just spewed in the same bathroom as Potter ok, I'm not feeling very well!!!!" Harry then slammed the door hopefully he didn't give anything away...............................................

Draco and Ron arrived at the Griffindor Common room. Ron said the password, the fat lady swung open, Draco was immediately confronted by Hermoine

"Harry!!" she called "Are you OK did Draco do anything to you" She kissed him on the cheek.

Draco blushed 'oh my god' he thought 'I could really get use to this'
"I'm fine" he said "just fine......." his cheeks were really red by now, He smiled at Ron and Hermoine and headed for the boys dorm, he lay in bed trying to remember something........

He didn't realize what until he got woken up early in the morning.........
"Come Harry come" it was Oliver Wood "We have a game against Slytherin, your chance to get back at Malfoy aye?"

Draco smiled or maybe he wouldn't do anything..........

Breakfast that morning was silent no one said a word, everyone’s mind was on the big game, the decider. ‘Who ever wins this wins the cup’
Now normally Draco would be excited, but not when your playing for the other side, this couldn’t have happened at a worse time !!!

As Draco made his way to put on his, Yellow and Red, robes *shiver* , people patted him on the back saying stuff about how he’s beaten that Malfoy before and how there’s no way ‘The Boy Who Lived’ can lose.

*Draco Malfoy, The Boy Who Lived………..hmmm………….has a nice ring to it*

Draco pulled on his robes and hopped on his broom (well its really Harry’s broom) and flew out to hear the Griffindor cheer.

Draco looked up to see Harry was just displeased as he was. Draco had a plan, stay away from the Snitch sounded simple right? Wrong, he’s plan didn’t work cause well, Harry had the same plan and to make things even more complicated, the bludger always seemed to be aimed at him. At one point Draco almost yelled

“IM ON YOUR SIDE!!!!!”

but of course that would have made things much worse, it was when the Snitch came in-between Harry and Draco that Draco forgot all about the bludger, Harry and Draco just started at each other as the crowd started to yell

“THE SNITCH! GET THE SNITCH!”

There was so much noise that Draco, or Harry for that matter, didn’t really hear Hermoine scream

“HARRY MOVE!!”

All what Draco heard was ‘move’ he turned to look at Hermoine only to get hit by a bludger so hard that he found that his (ops Harry’s) broom had snapped in two……………………………………….

AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"HARRY!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!"

Hermoine screamed, then everyone else realized what had happened. The bluger had missed Harry, it had hit his broom instead and now it was coming back for more.............................

As Draco plummeted head first to the ground, he realized one thing, the bluger coming towards him "........" Draco tried to say something but nothing came out. Just as Draco thought it was all over just as the bluger was inches away from his face, he felt someone pull him up and on to a broom...........................................

Draco looked up to see...............

Harry!, his face red of exhaustion, Draco tried to say 'Thanks' but all what came out was

"WATCH IT!" Harry looked up, the bluger was back,

"HANG ON" he told Draco as he skyrocketed up, up, up past everyone who were staring at him with there mouths wide open.

"Why are they staring at me?" he asked

Draco laughed "Could it be? Draco Malfoy just saved Harry Potters life?"

Harry frowned then said "Oh yeah" then he turned to Draco "You sure your alright" he asked.

Draco nodded "Yeah I’m fine......just watch were you're going.............."

"Huh....AHH!!" Harry moved just in time the broom spun round and round and round and round and ........................ you get the idea.

Ron blinked he couldn't believe what he had just seen, "Did Ferret Boy just save Harry?" he asked Hermoine in disbelief.

Hermoine nodded "hmmm" she said in a lovey-dovey voice,

"Um, Hermoine you Ok" Ron asked

"........huh, yeah I’m fine" she replied "but we have to find some way to help them"

Ron nodded in agreement, Malfoy had saved Harry's life, he could at least try to help him........

By now Harry’s/Dracos broom had stopped spinning,

"Ah...." Draco moaned as he put a hand on his forehead,

"Yeah I'm a bit dizzy too" Harry confessed

"Its not that" Draco said "I think its your scar, its burning"

Harry went white "Voldermort"

Drcao looked confused "Voldermort?"

"Yeah" Harry replied as they dogged the bluger again "My scar always seems to burn when he’s around"

Draco nodded "So I guess he’s the one who’s bewitched the bluger"

Harry shrugged "I guess" he said as headed towards the ground again,

"Hey" Draco said "Isn't that Hermoine?"

Harry looked at where Draco had pointed, "Yeah it is"

"Um... Harry" Draco said,

The bluger was heading straight towards Hermoine, Harry sped towards the ground, he gonna yell a warning at her, but Draco said it first,

"HERMOINE!!!!" he yelled "WATCH OUT!!!!"

Hermoine looked up....

"What?"

That was a very interesting twist!! I was really worried for Harry when he went to the Slytherin common room - I thought he was gonna say smth stupid. Same goes for Draco.

And then I liked how "Draco" hellped "Harry" - when I read that bludger was going to hit Draco I was like - Harry just has to help him! and he did.

When they were close enough, Draco jumped off the broom and tackled Hermoine out of the way.
The bluger smashed into the ground, they all looked at it

"Thanks Harry" Hermoine smiled, Draco nodded then relised that Harry was gonna get the credit.

Harry jumped pff the broom, "Voldermort" he said "he's got to be near"

Everyone stared at him in disbelif,

"Um...." Hermoine was the first to speak "Draco, thanks for saving Harry"

All the Griffindors nodded as the Slytherins started yelling at harry.
"well" Harry said "I know he would do the same if it was me"

he walked up to Draco and shook his hand

"I hope" he added.

Draco nodded being Potter for a couple of days made him see things in a diffrent light, I guess this is why Harry had saved him.......

Or mabey he just knew what its like to have a bluger after you....

Everyone haeded back to the castle,

"What was it Harry?' Ron asked, Draco froze

"Um Voldermort, I think, my scar has been burning" he put a hand on his forehead, "Its getting worse"

Hermoine shook her haed "This is not good, not good at all" she trid to get a glimpse of Draco, but the Slytherins had alraedy gone.

Harry was istting on his/Dracos bed, staring up at the celling, he felt real bad taht Voldermort was after Draco, well he was after him but semming Dracos him and ..................

Harry gave up cause he was starting ot confuse himself, he sighed as he rolled over, he hears the Slytherins talking about how hes possesed cause he whould never do anything like that.

Harry has to smile ' Sorry Draco' he thought 'I've given you a bad reputation!' He sighed once more then closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Draco walked into the Griffindor Doorm wtih Hermoine, Ron and the rest of the Griffindors,

"Hey Harry" Hermoine said "Can I talk to you?"

Draco nodded and sat down on the nearby chair.

"umm, I'm just wondering if you knew why Malfoy saved you"

This came to quite a shook to Draco, "Why do you want to know?" Draco asked shakley,

Hermoine laughed "Lets just say if I'm right I can call you Draco"

This is good...it has quite a good story line, and I would really like to see more of it...
