I was just wondering when it is that Petigrew blows up the street and everyone thinks its him so he goes to Azkaban.
Cause in book 1 when Hagrid takes harry to dumbledore on privet drive he flys in on a bike and says

Young Sirius Black lent it me

so at this point i'm presuming black hasn't tried to confront petigrew

Also if no-one except black and petigrew knew that it was petigrew that was the potters secret keeper and not black then at this point dumbledore and hagrid would have thought that it was sirius that told voldermort where the potters lived.
so why would hagrid borrow the bike off of him?

As far as I understand it:

Someone finds out of what happend, and at the very beggining only couple of people know about it, Sirius comes to Potters for whatever reason - and sees them dead and little Harry there - he realises who have done it. At this moment Hagrid comes in - and he is only told that Voldie killed Potters and Harry is alive and he needs to be delievered to his relatives.

Anyway, Hagrid comes in, sees Black in there but he doesn't know the whole story so he accepts his bike. Black is in fury so he goes off to find the little traitor.

Anyway, Hagrid mentions in PoA (in the three broomsticks) that in that moment he didn't know that Sirius was the secret keeper (in that momento they still assume that Sirius was reallt the keeper); and for DD I have no answer, I mean he should have done something, no?

yeah i think that he should have done, but his main priority was probably harry and not sirius at that point! he knew that harry would be safe with the dursleys.

I dont see Dumbledore as an immediate run off and get revenge kind of guy....

he knew sirius was meant to be the secret keeper but he also knows sirius as a friend before that...he has to sort out harry first anyway... i think dumbledore would have sat down and thought it through before attempting to go after sirius.....i mean he accepted the fact the sirius was innocent in book 3 pretty fast didnt he...that suggests to me he already thought it but needed confirmation from sirius

I agree with Sonk; and what should have happened is that Sirius should have gone to talk with DD, intead of trying to kill Peter.

but then, I suppose that if he went to DD first, it kinda would have riuned the plot, no!!!

Exactly, it just the same as if Minerva heard what Harry, Ron, and Hermione has to say in SS before entering.
