Who is most likely to join the dark side?

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Mist; I thinkKarkaroff only said that for not betraying all the DE, and then having so many enemies (imagine he betrayed Lucius, then Lucius gets free and kills Karkaroff); and since the most important DE were at the meetinga,d Voldemrt said his names as it seemed he had always done, then all DE know all DE

And I don't think that a formerly DE word is so important and even having DD trust won't be enough to send any person to Azkaban (in that case surely all DE would be in Azkaban, if Snape is good)

Good point about Percy, Han. I think that if he ever were tempted to LV's side (which I still din't think he will,) then he'd eventually come to his senses and realise what a grave mistake he had made.

And about Snape, I think that there's a lot about him that we still need to find out before we can say for which side he's working. It might just be me, but I think that he really is a good person. He must have done something awfully good (and I mean awfully good,) for everyone to be so trusting of him this fast. I don't think that DD would put that much trust in him if it weren't something major.

hm...I still don't think it's necessary for DD to trust Snape...at least not at the time he changed sides. Just imagine:
You are fighting a war against the most powerful evil wizard that ever existed, and you're supposed to be the only one who is possibly able to stop him. You try your best, but nevertheless, he manages to gain more and more power, innocent people are tortured and killed, families are torn apart, and there is no more safety, nowhere. Then, at the climax of his power, one of his highest ranking followers offers to change sides and work for you as a spy...what would you do? Turn down such an offer? Even if you didn't fully trust him, wouldn't you run the risk? I would...

But I really like the idea of Snape saving DD's life :) :)

Well, Harry ask DD why did he trust Snape, and DD answers that that is bussiness of only Snape and him, so I think it will be something important.

Perhaps, but I've a feeling that that information will be about Harry's parents.

And I'm not sure if I would trust him that easily Siana. I mean, I don't see it as being characteristic of Dumbledore to accept just anyone into his ranks. Even if he was short on followers. He doesn't seem like that desperate of a guy.

And I really like the idea of Snape saving Dumbledore's life!

I agree with Zab, in the three things.

Because when DD reafers to the thing that he used have told Harry 5 years ago is about HArry asking him why Coldemort killed his parents (at the end); or maybe about what he really saw in the Erised Mirror (which I highly doubt)

Yeah, JK's putting that question at the end of PS was definitely an indication that it'll be brought up in a major way in the follwoing books.

And as for what he really saw in the Mirror, do you mean all of his family members?

Thanks Holly, for explaining.

And yes Coldemort, sounds very funny. Maybe he is the Dark Lord that makes snow fall everywhere?
