::Is insanely jealous of Dragon::

I think the last day of classes for me is June 12-ish. And then graduation is the 27-ish. That leaves exactly a month. Alas...31 more days...

Wait a minute . . . but, Couger, by the time 5 months is over, it won't be summer anymore, so that couldn't be your summer vacation . . . could it?

Funny. People from the Southern Hemisphere always have to remind people on top that our seasons are reversed. Especially Americans.

I experience this a lot with Americans when I chat with them online. They frequently get so confused when ever I say certain things. Example: Most Australian schools don't have caferterias. Instead we have these little tuck shops or canteens where we buy food and eat on the playgrounds.

I think Americans don't learn enough about other countries. I'd think the media is to blame. Or maybe other countries don't make enougth good movies for Americans to watch. That's how I know so much about the US, though films and the news.

Funny, because I'm American, and the first thing I thought was, wow, Cougarman must be from the southern hemisphere :-P.

Yah, I figured that, too. But you're right about Americans not knowing that much about other cultures. And believe me, I know plenty that are like that!

I think most people in the UK are pretty clued up about that sort of thing, but i know a lot of people who arn't . one of my friends thought until recently that the president of the united states was lincoln. urrm . where ever you go there will be people who are very clueless.

i think that most people do know a hell of a lot about the US though, through movies etc.
