Draco Malfoy . . .

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Okay, I'm not sure I want to hear about that (the Paul's kilt thing has been enough)

Maybe Percy and Draco team up since both are not sure which side to taje place in. (Okay I know this won't happen, but can't think of other possibilities)

Neo, you should write Fanfic! Actually, it does seem like an interesting prospect. Draco and Percy. We know that the two are quite ambitious.
And on a somewhat similar topic, I'm not sure that I think Percy will join the Dark Side. It seems logical, seeing as how he is power-hungry, but I think that his loyalty truly lies with his family. And I can't think of an instance in the books where Percy does or thinks anything remotely related to joining Lord Voldemort.

hm, you possibly cannot compare that, but didn't Percy tend to forget family ties while being in the position of head boy? He enjoys power, that's for sure!

Yah, I agree with the fact that he's v. ambitious, I just don't see how he's been disloyal to his family. Sure, he's been a bit, actually a lot, pompous about being Head Boy and comes off as being somewhat supercilious, but he jst doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would throw away his family. And we also have to remember that he had to be smart before he was Head Boy, so I'm sure that he has enough intelligence to see that he shouldn't be tempted by the power of Voldemort.

I don't think Percy is bad, he is just obssesed with rules, so I think he will side with the official position of the minister.

And thanks Blaise,
Neo, you should write Fanfic!

I only have crazy ideas, but do not like to develop them (if someone wants go ahead)

Yeah, I think that through all Percy's rull obsissiveness, and pomp, he's still a Weasley deep down, and will do the right thing!

hrmm, has a memory of Percy siding with Crouch against his Dad...

we never know what kind of things may happen...he doesn't necessarily have to be disloyal to his family to be tempted...maybe Arthur's obsession with Muggles will get him into serious trouble, with Fudge or Lucius for example (maybe he's even the bad death JK mentioned), and Percy will blame the Muggles...or he gets angry with the ministry for not intervening...a little far-fetched, but anything's possible... :)

I think that Percy can side wtih fudge, but won't hae his family for that; it is just point of views, and I belive Weasley's let their children have their own opinions.

Yeah, but there's a difference between having a difference of opinion, and siding with the bad guys and thus betraying everything that your family beleives in??? :o

Bad! Bad! Fudge is evil! He's a bad, bad person! Meh, will now end Fudge ranting.
I still don't think it's Percy that will be the character that choose between good and evil. It's been speculated about so much that it almost seems too predictable at this point. It would be much more fun if it was Draco that had to choose between the sides.

I don't think Fudge is evil, based on what???
And Percy siding with Fudge isn't a betrayal, if he sides with Voldemort then yes.

And Zab, I woulnd't like Draco to be the one to choose, he is pure evil, I like him like that.

Lol, there really isn't that much evidence, actually. It's just a few things that seem to add up. There's a lot more about it in the thread about who will turn evil.

He just seems to be so over-ambitious in everything he does. And so unsure of himself when it comes to siding with Dumbledore. He's also in such a good position if LV ever neededa contact at the Ministry. Furthermore, he's the type of guy that doesn't really care about what's right or wrong, just what would gain him the most power. Just think of how he acted at the end of GoF, when he had the Kiss delivered to Barty Crouch, without consulting Dumbledore. I think that he only did that to assert his power over others and make himself looks better in comparison.
