Who is most likely to join the dark side?

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Am expecting there to be many objections to this, but:
Cornelius Fudge.
When I first read the books I didn't see much in his character other than being a bit inept but with good intentions. But when I reread them (many, many times ;),) I began to notice how power hungry the guy really is. We do know that he started out in a lowly Ministry position but aligned himself with powerful people and was soon elected Miniter of Magic. This indicates that everything he does is only to make himself look better. I mean, in GoF he went ahead and had Barty Crouch Jr. killed before asking any questions as a means of exploiting his power as Minister. I really see him as just a horribly blinded guy who will do anything and follow anyone to get power. Just think of how easy it would be for Voldemort to manipulate him without Fudge even realising it!
And finally, the fact that he refuses to act against Voldemort at the end of GoF shows that his loyalties don't lie completely with Dumbledore and the "good" side.

Well certainly his is not a good guy, but I don't think he will be siding with V., his hunger of power makes him want to destry Voldemort (because he wouldn't tolerate him controling everything), I think he tries to have the power using the force as he likes, but saying it is in benefit og the people, while it is for him.

yeah! I think that he enjoys having the position of MOM for the pomp that goes along with it, people listen to what he says, wanting to meet him, etc, etc, but he's not the brightest guy in world!

I am very curious about his rise through the minestry to the posision of MOM though, but somehow I really can't see that one being explained... unless of course he does go very bad and his rise throught the minserty has something to do with it??? But I doubt it!

Fudge is dense, not evil!

Does anyone know what exactly Fudge did while Voldie was at the clinax of his power? If there was only lust for power in him but no good intentions, he would've been very stupid to completely stand up against Voldemort...

While Voldie was in power, Fudge was Junoir Misister in the Depart of Magical Catastrophies....

He tells McGonagall, Hagrid, Flitwick and Madam Rosmerta in Three Brooksticks when they were talking about the Potters Secret-Keeper in PoA...

Help?

Voldemort is in french, and means the flight of death (as far as I remmeber), but the romanian translation sounds cool too.

Thank you Holly!
To your question, Neo:
If he was only looking for power, no matter by what side it was provided, it would have been helpfull to be well in with Voldemort to a certain extent. See, if Voldemort had managed to become the most powerful wizard ever and the absolute ruler of the wizarding world, the only way to derive power would have been being on his side. So, he should have tried to keep all doors open for him...
Of course, this goes only for the case that Fudge is only intersted in power but has no good intentions.

No, Fudge looks for power, but doesn't believe in the dark side (even that Sirius saiid his ways to stop them were very similar to what DE did); but Fudge wants power in a legal way.
