5,000 in 24 hours. A personal best. I'm taking a quick break before I get started up again. I know I'll be up really late, working... Still, so much fun. I hope I can finish.

Wow, I'm impressed! I've written just over 8K in the past four days. Haven't written anything today. Tuesdays and Thursdays are really busy for me.

So... Remember, remember, the fifth of November, 8,000 words and a plot! Who's got it?

Just over 15K for me! Might try for 16K by midnight, but not sure if it'll happen.

So Nanowrimo finished awhile ago, but none of you posted your finished works updates!

Well I got to 12,304 with a goal of 20,000. I was fairly happy, considering I had school and mass amounts of studying to do (end of year tests). I'll keep outlining my novel and hopefully next year I can give it a better shot.

How did everyone else end up doing?

I ended up reaching 50,338 on November 29. I'm quite happy with my achievements, as last year I only got to 20k. My novel's nowhere near being done, though. I'm not sure when I'll get around to finishing it. Maybe I'll make it my goal to finish it up during JulNo.

Woah! You did it Fawkes! :)
This year, I went into Nanowrimo not knowing a thing and I came out of it 8,000 or so words short of my goal. Next year, I will be alot more ready and geared up to do my goal, which next year is 30,000 :)

Aye, and that would be my goal as well. I simply don't have the time to write a novel in one month. I've got a lot of crud to do (namely school, homework, and such), and it doesn't give me much time to write.

I can relate, Salemboy. School has officially finished for the year so hopefully I can begin writing again... Nanowrimo would be a lot easier when I'm out of school, but since that's never going to happen I think I might have a Janowrimo, for myself. :)

I finished on the 27th I think with just over 51K!!! My novel isn't finished and I'm sick of the plot, so I'm not sure when I'll get to finishing it.

As of now, I'm plugging along at a moderate pace. Got to 18,500 on sunday evening. Really liking the plot, although wondering how long I should keep one of the characters... I'm considering killing off the person half-way, as I hadn't even intended to have her in the story in the first place... Thinking it over.

I caved after only about 8000 words, not a good thing to take on after prac and 6 years of uni and getting so much support for that. But I'm looking forward to writing the book, whenever i can!

congrats to Fawkes and Duckie!!! yay!!!!

and looking forward to next year! :)

And next year is now upon us. I don't know how many people are still looking around at BaO, but I'm still going to revive this thread. NaNoWriMo is once again upon us, and I'm all set and ready. Hope you guys are too, I don't want to NaNoNovel without you.
