What if Harry accepted Draco's offer to be friends?

I'm surprised no one put this (at least not that I saw).
So anyway, what do you guys think would've happened if Harry left Ron and joined Draco's group?

Maybe under Harry's influence Draco would have been like Sirius or Remus and joined Dumbledore instead of the Deatheaters. I always thought Draco was not truly evil but only badly influenced, I think if he had been able to escape the family pressure/had known Snape was a good guy then he'd not have done most of the stuff he did.

Can't help Draco that most of the pure bloods in Slytherin like Crabbe and Goyle are so inbred they have no brain cells, Draco is clearly intelligent, must be frustrating to be stuck with friends like Crabbe and Goyle when Harry gets people like Hermione and Ron, bet thats one of the main reasons he hates Harry so much.

Draco really didn't seem that bad, however, Hermiony and Ron probably wouldn't have become friends or eventually like eachother, and Harry and Ron would be the ones who hate eachother. Unless, Harry was still friends with him secretly. The whole thing would have a major turn of events. Would Draco have stayed with Harry when there was danger? Would he really support Harry?

I can't help but wonder though if Draco ever actually meant that offer of friendship or whether it would just be a Lucius Malfoy plot to get Harry round to visit for a summer and get rid of him for Voldemort.

DUN DUN DUUUN!!! We may never know. I'd be cool though if someone wrote a fanfic about it on Fanfiction.net. It would definitely get a lot of reviews if they wrote it properly and had good plots.

Maybe that would just mean that Draco was good! Because even if he was friends with Draco, Voldemort still killed his parents! He wouldn't join the dark side because he couldn't forgive that! So either Draco is good or Harry would just walk away from his friendship with Draco.. I can't see him being friends with Draco if Draco supported Voldemort...
