Inu had torn apart the men in the room so completely that they were unrecognisable. There were body parts everywhere, and the drain in the middle of the room was loud with the sound of liquid flowing down it. But it wasn't liquid; it was blood. The woman with Neko was still reading from the black book; her voice was almost shrill, and she was sobbing. They were only witch hunters with very basic tricks for catching magical creatures; they hadn't counted on a werewolf. And further more, not one who could induce his wolf characteristics with potions. He approached the woman, who was now cowering behind the table where Neko layed motionless, he eyes sealed shut. Inu looked at her, and then at the woman. The woman backed into the wall, sliding down to the floor, looking at Inu as she continued to speak the words in the book. The black leather casing had a cross on the outside. Inu paced around the table, walked up to the woman and knelt down to look her in the face. The woman stopped speaking long enough to spit in his face. Inu closed his eyes. He brought his hand up and wiped his face. He reached out and pulled the book out of the woman's hands. She protested a little, holding it tightly. He still managed to pry it out of her hands.
"Demon!" she shrieked. "Creature from hell! Monster!!!"
Inu put his finger up to her mouth. "Shhhhh..." he hissed. And with his other hand he grabbed her throat.
"Demon you say?" he smiled. He looked back at Neko. "You think your God will reward you for what you do? You think that you are sin free? " he squeezed, and the woman started t choke. He kept squeezing her throat until she went almost purple. He stood up, lifting her up the wall with one hand. She struggled, holding onto his arm. Then he dropped her, and she fell onto her front, clutching her throat, gasping for air. He went over to the ritual table and picked up a blood stained knife. He noticed the cruel carvings they had begun to carve across Neko's stomach. She was shamelessly exposed, so he took off his cloak and covered her. She shifted a bit, and moaned, stirring back into conciousness. He left her there for a moment, and went over to the woman, who was trying to crawl away. He grabbed her by the hair, pulling her head back, and placed the knife at her throat.
"I think I'll offer a sacrifice. Unless you'd like to beg for your life?" he asked, bending down and pressing ear to her cheek.
"P...please.... please....no..." she sobbed. Inu slit her throat, the blood sprayed across the wall. She fell to floor, her face to one side. She was coughing, sputtering, gasping like a fish out of water. Inu layed down to look her in the eyes.
"What's that? Please? please what? No? don't kill me? Don't do it? Please stop! Oh.. ho ho ho! I'll never ever stop. Go now.. that's it... go... don't try to breathe...there.. there it is. Now." The woman's gasps slowed, her body convulsed and then her eyes went blank, the blood oozed from her mouth. Inu said 'now' at the exact moment her heart stopped.

He stood up, undid Neko's restraints and scooped her up in his arms. It was at that moment that her heard the voices. Reinforcements, of course. He needed to find anotehr way out. They would have guns, and Neko couldn't take any bullets.

Yuta heard a distinct commotion from within the building, come from Inu's little games, no doubt. But what was that coming down the street. Yuta cocked her head slightly, just enough to give her vantage to the strangers' approach. A group of people, all carrying strange black books and guns in their hands. Some sor tof cult? Yuta wasn't sure. But whatever they were, they obviously intended to harm Inu, and Neko, if she was in there. And these numbers were more than even their leader could handle, especially if Neko was hurt in there.
Yuta dropped in a pointed pencil dive from the roof, landing slightly crouched on her toes, with her knees bent to absorb the shock. "Hello." she said languidly, and many of the muggles jumped, not noticing her descent. Yuta lifted up her left hand so that the muggles could see. She curled her fingers into a fist, then out again, exposing viscous fangs tipped with some sort of glistening poison. With her other hand, she raised her wand.
"Witch!" "Foul creature!" "Abomination!" the calling ensued immediately, the group rushing forward, all wanting to be the first to claim their prize. Yuta smiled, turning to the side and stepping out of the way, trailing her talons lightly over the entire front line. All fell and began to distort into grotesque shapes of misery, screamin bloody murder all the while. And with each squirm, the victims contaminated seven more of their companions at their touch, spreading panic and chaos quickly and efficiently throughout the group.
But there were still more. And a clattering could now be heard from inside, marking Inu's approach. Yuta didn't know what his reaction to her presence would be when he saw her there. Approving, surely, of her kills. But wouldn't it be much more fascinating, Yuta wondered, if Inu knew not who had helped him? What an interesting little experiment that would be.
Yuta leapt agily back up to the rooftops just as Inu emerged from within the building.

Inu had found a back exit to the building. It was much like any other building in the city, in spite of it's dungeon facade. He carried Neko easiy up the stairs, his heavy footfalls making clanging noises on the metal steps. He turned and used his shoulder to slam the door open, and he was into the street. What he saw was most unexpected.
About twenty people were there, but it was a terrible mess as if a bomb had gone off. They were on the ground, blood was coming out of their eyes, they were writhering and crying out. One crawled to Inu's feet. "Help me! Please... ahhh!!!" he screamed, blood and puss spitting from his mouth as he spoke. Inu stumbled back as he kicked the man off of him, repulsed. The man curled into a ball, clutching at his stomach. They were all poisoned, Inu deducted. He saw several were slashed across their chests, and they were already dead, laying still with looks of eternal torture on their faces. Their wounds were green and pussy, and even now in death the poison was still eating away at their flesh. He noticed the familar black book lying on the ground. This group was meant to stop him, he thought. But someone intercepted. Someone helped him, but who? Inu looked around, assessing his surroundings. He saw no one, sensed no one. The stench of blood and vomit was too strong to pick up any other scent. Inu frowned, deciding to be rid of this place. He adjusted Neko in his arms, and decided to apparate to behind the shops near their hideout.

Yuta observed Inu's reaction eagerly as she sat on the rooftops. How amusing! She thought to herself. Yuta wanted to stay longer, but they'd all surely be leaving soon, and she still had a few.... details to attend to. The the quietest of derisive laughs, Yuta apparated back to the HQ.

Upon entering the six's "litte home" as she liked to call it, she saw Damien sitting there, as if frozen. She walked up to him, and waved a hand in front of his face.
"Earth to Damien! This is Earth to Damien, requesting permission to make taunting joke!" she prodded him with a smile.

"Wah?" Damien suddenly realized Yuta was there, not because she was insignificant or anything, but simply because he was still shocked. "Sorry, I'm kind of shocked. You were saying?" He put Ouki in the back of his mind for now. The trip began in a few minutes.

Ouki walked out of the shop with a paper bag full of essentials; snacks, chocolate, drinks and some personal items. She stepped out and walked into the street, just in time to see Inu step cautiously from the alleyway to her left.
"What the..?" she aid, and then she noticed Inu was carrying someone who was covered in his cloak. Inu turned to see her standing there. The look on his face was grave. She had never seen him like this. She pulled herself together and approached him and looked to see who he was holding. It was Neko, and she was deathly pale. Ouki took a step back and saw that on the ground there was blood. As they had been standing there, Neko had bled out some more.
"What are you waiting for?!" she hissed at Inu. "Let's get her inside!" she put one hand on Inu's back and ushered him to the hideout. Inu went ahead of her and she looked around before burning away the blood from the pavement, erasing the evidence. She went inside and closed the door. Inu was just about to enter the kitchen, where she knew Damien would be able to help.

"What the?!" Damien said under his breathe as Inu walked in with Neko. "What happened?" he asked as Inu set her on the table.

"It doesn't matter," Inu snarled. "Just get her a [although Inu probably would have said a naughtier word, let's go with "stupid"] stupid potion to treat knife wounds." Damien had never seen Inu act like this, caring this much for a member. Favoritist.

He hastily exited the kitchen, where he accidentally bumped into Ouki. He didn't have time to be awkward, though, and asked, "What happened?!" He hurried to his room, and grabbed three potions: one to stop the pain, one to stop the bleeding, and one to close the wound. He exited his room, and came back to the kitchen with the potions. He turned on the stove, and pointed his wand at a pot. "Scourgify," he said impatiently. The Pot was wiped clean as he threw it onto the stove. "Ouki, I need some water!"

Ouki whipped out her wand and pointed it at the taps. Like before, the water streamed from the tap like a long transparent snake. The water kept coming until it filled the pot. She slashed the air and the water tappered off and came splashing down; one half into the sink, the other into the pot.
"It's already hot, if that's okay."
As Ouki and Damien worked in the kitchen, Inu pulled his cloak off of Neko and assessed the damage. He pulled her top up to reveal her stomach, which was mutilated with cuts. He turned his head, assessing the markings. They were doing some kind of ritual on her, and they were cutting the shapes into her skin much too deeply. He was sure there was internal bleeding. He scoffed angrily. They were doing it to try to save her. He looked forward to whenever he met them again. He would trace Neko's scars every time he touched her, memorising them. And then he would seek these cultists out, and carve those marks and a few of his own on their children's faces. But first to the task of saving Neko's life.

Damien threw all three potions into the water, and said, "Thanks, that saved time." He watched as a vapor began to rise fromt the pot. Damien pulled out a vial, and captured some of the vapor into it. Then as he rushed back to Neko, he said to Kaba, "After this I need to talk to you. But first, could you do me a favor and use these vials to capture as much vapor as possible? Thank you!" He gave her five vials and headed over to where Neko was at.

Undoing the stopper, he held the vial under her nose, allowing for her to breathe the vapor in. When it was all gone, he called, "Ouki, I need another vial!" As she was coming, he said to Inu, "The potion will take an hour or two to heal her completely, probably longer if she has internal bleeding. She is in no shape to walk, let alone fight. I'll have to watch her to make sure that nothing bad happens you guys can't handle. That's two people who can't go on the trip tonight, and I normally heal you guys. Inu, we need to postpone the trip, or we'll have a very good chance of being killed tonight."

None of them had ever been hurt this badly before. Inu walked away, running his hands through his hair. He walked back to Neko, looked down at her, reached for her face, then pulled his hand away. He paced the room, and then he kicked over a chair that went flying into a wall. It broke like a wooden toy into splinters.
"Agh!!!" he yelled. "Fine! Do what you have to do, Damien. We leave in the morning." He stormed into his own room and slammed the door.

Whiny brat. That's the first thought that came to Damien's head. "Ouki, where's another vial?!" She came out with one, and gave it to him. "Thanks," he said briefly. Then he let Neko inhale the vapor. Once she had inhaled it all, Damien finally relaxed. She would only need two. He wandered back to Ouki, who was a bit pale. "You ok, Ouki?"

Lugging the big bag of snacks for the trip, Buta waited patiently for the gang to show up on the bus. But when none showed up in the designated time, Buta grew anxious. Did everyone left without him? Did he miss the time? He searched for his pocket watch and heaved a sigh of relief. He was not late. Then it struck him. Could he had gotten the time wrong? They must have left on a different mode of transport.

Buta quickly raced down the bus and apparated into the house. "Where is everybody?" Buta said loudly as the hallway lights dimmed out. A distinct mixed smell of blood and potions waved in from the kitchen. That could only meant blood from Neko and potions from Damien. He must be treating her now. Then several loud sounds of object trashing came from Inu's room.

Buta entered Inu's room just as he flung a porcelain vase across the room.
"Who did it?" asked Buta with an eerie glow in his eyes.

Yuta jumped to her feet as Inu carried Neko in. Not that anyone noticed. They never did. Yuta sighed to herself and stood against the wall, out of everyone's way, as Damien began to treat Neko. She might as well have been under a disillusionment charm, for all the notice anyone gave her. Ah, well.
Inu left the room swearing angrily not much time later, and Yuta silently followed. She wasn't sure why. Damien and Ouki wouldn't realize she left; they barely knew she had been there. Inu was sure to thow a temper tantrum now. Someone would have to clean up the mess, whether it be of broken inanimate objects or otherwise, and Inu was far to proud to do it himself.
Yuta kept a safe distance behind Inu as he stormed away, slamming the door to his room as he went in. Cacophany ensued. Yuta waited quietly outside, ready to repair the damage once Inu calmed himself down and started thinking sensibly again.

Inu noticed Yuta leaning against the wall outside as Buta charged into the room. The door closed behind Buta and Yuta did not try to catch Inu's eyes. Inu looked warily up at Buta. Then he shook his head.
"Cultists." he spat, and paced across the room, opened his wardrobe and grabbed a sports bag to pack a few things in. He started tossing a few items of clothing in, and then pulled out a bit of towel which conceiled a sharp weapon. He placed it carefully in the bag, then zipped it up. He looked up at Buta again. "Don't worry, I killed them all. And the rest seemed to decide to do the job for me. They all must have taken some kind of poison. What a bunch of fools." He threw his bag over his shoulder. "Make no mistake, when I find out where the rest of them are, and there will be more, I'll let you know so you can pull some fingernails off for me." Inu extended one hand up onto Buta's shoulder, reassuringly. Buta reached across and roughly patted Inu's hand in response.
Inu pushed passed Buta and walked out into the kitchen and main area. He turned his head and eyed Yuta. She was checking her nails, and she looked up at him with a bored expression. Inu stalked up to Neko who was now covered in a blanket but still on the table.
"Is she alright? When can we move her?" Inu said to Damien without looking.
"She was hurt very badly, Inu. What happened to you two?" Ouki queried. Inu knew he didn't have to explain himself to anyone in this group, except Ouki. He and Ouki had recruited everyone in this room, and Neko had been Inu's choice. Ouki had always told him she was unstable, but had extreme potential to be very strong. He even wanted to change her into a werewolf too, but he never divulged this to Neko herself. He wanted her to be stronger. He hated with every part of his being that she was so fragile. Ouki was right, and it made Inu furious. Never before had they ever had one of the six be captured and nearly killed. And it just had to be Neko, the one Inu was emotionally connected with. Inu looked around the room; everyone was looking at his face now.
"It seems," Inu spoke, dropping his bag onto the floor with a loud bang that caused the people in the room to startle, "that we have enemies who see it fit to carve us up like animal sacrifices...." Inu glanced at Neko, who seemed to be recovering as her breathing raised the blanket up and down. "We are not just at risk with the ministry and the police. I had never considered this. I admit it. This is medieval, this is ancient witch hunting. " He stopped, looking around the room. Each member of the sadist six looked transfixed.
"So..." said Ouki. "What can we do about it?" she stepped forward, stroking Neko's hair with her hand.
"It's time we make a decision." Inu stood up straight. "I'd like to know that you have my back. And I want to know that you have mine." Inu stared back at Ouki. Then he knelt down and ran his hand through the blood that Neko had dripped onto the floor. "Individually, we are weak!" he scoffed. "It's not just about murder now, not just about the killing and the pain, it's about US. They are hunting us, and I, the hunter, didnt even see it coming!!!" He kicked one of the chairs again, knocking it down. He paced the room.
"Give them a reason to seek us out now..." he growled. "Give them a reason to be trully afraid of us. To..." Inu reached up as if he was plucking the word from the air. "LOATHE us. Run off on your own, and you can end up like Neko. Work together, and we can rage war." he stood still now, looking around at his fellow witches and wizards, analysing their faces. His eyes rested on Ouki. "Do my words fall on deaf ears?" he said softly.
"No." Ouki whispered. "So what is it that you want? A pact?"
"Yes." Inu said matter of factly.

Yuta remained in the hallway as Inu stalked past her, despite his obvious wish that they all be in his sight for his little speech. Yuta looked up only when Inu mentioned a pact. Yuta didn't favor pacts....

*****

"Oh, don't, he hasn't any money on him anyway." Yuta ran a hand through her luxurious brown hair as she leaned against the alley wall with a smile.
"Money isn't everything, Yutie, baby!" a tall man with mysteriously dark eyes and long, muscular limbs replied, slamming an elbow jerkily into the refinely casual man. "Some things are just for fun!"
"Oh, and you call that fun, do you?" Yuta laughed, a tinkling sound reminiscent of silver bells.
"Nah," he laughed, too. His was more of a hiss than a chime. "I call watching your reaction fun."
"Oh, shut up!" Yuta slapped him playfully. But then her voice got slightly more serious, though still retaining its gleeful edge. "You know, one of these days you're going to go too far with this, and then I'll be left all alone."
"Ah, don't worry about me."
"It's not you I'm worried about." A lie, and the man knew it. Yuta went on, "What would I do if you weren't here?"
"What you always did before you met me."
"As if it's that simple." Yuta sniffed rather haughtily.
"Tell you what," the man said, straightening up. The weaker man he'd been pummeling crawled away, unnoticed.
"What?" Yuta asked, almost sulkily.
"I'll make you a pact."
"A pact?"
"Yeah, like a sort of agreement. Contract, if you will. Only not as legally binding."
