I voted the last, though the first and sixth are tied in a very close second.

Close call but I chose Goblet of fire as it introduced Mad-eye Moody, resurrected Voldemort and had me anxiously waiting for the next book (I always looked forward to the next book, but it was always an ok wait)

Goblet of Fire... completely. Voldemort's rebirth, outstanding.

In order: Goblet, Hallows, Azkaban, Phoenix, Stone, Chamber, Prince.

Although in fairness I enjoy Chamber and Prince more and more every time I read them... those last four in the list are about even. I love them all to be honest.

Some individual chapters from OoTP I would regard as my favourites but together the book doesn't quite reach it.

I was utterly disappointed by Prince at my first read.

I Have to say the last book was my favorite book. After reading the book I will never be able to see Snape as a bad guy again and I even feel sorry for the Dacro and his family.

I have not read a book that intently in about 10 years, cant wait till JK becomes board or broke and starts wrighting again

With her success I don't think she'll be broke any time soon! Bu she is publishing The Tales of Beatle the Bard for charity. It'll be on sale in December.

It was really close between book three and book six for me, but I voted for Prisoner of Azkaban.

Book three was actually the first one I read all the way through without stopping to read something else or reread one of the other books (I had short attention span problems back then... still do sometimes.), and I picked that one because I'm a Marauder era fanatic and it's the first book that gave any real insight into that time period.

I love book seven too, but all the death just made me sad. Though I am glad that the book proved me right about Snape being a good guy the whole time when only about five people believed me before.

You believed in Snape!? Me too! I got everything right about him! Oh well now I've gone completely off topic.
I can't decide if I've changed my mind to OotP now that I've read it for the hundred-billionth time.

Order Of The Phoenix would have to be my favorite along with Deathly Hallows.
Snape was hot and cold for me, I knew he was going to be good, deep, deep, deep inside, but I still hated how he treated Harry, although not nearly as bad as the Dursley's!

I loved Half-Blood Prince because it was more Harry Potter but it wasn't the last one. I hated the fact that everything was ending and Deathly Hallows had nothing to do with Hogwarts. I loved stuff happening at Hogwarts!!!!!!

I really liked the Half-Blooded Prince. The Deathly Hallows was ok, but that's just me.

I have to PoA was my favorite, because you got to learn more about Harry's past. You also got to learn some more
of the truth about the deaths of James and Lilly. In second place though has to be GoF.
