Harry Potter vs. Chronicles Of Narnia

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Narnia is awesome but I prefer Jo's style of writing as Narnia can be a bit babyish in explanations and stuff sometimes. I think though I probably prefer the Narnia world better, I'd like to go to Hogwarts but I'd love to find that wardrobe and get into Narnia and stay there forever and be a queen...

Yeah I think Narnia wins just. Narnia movies are slightly better so far too.

Its not hard to predict, he is very very religious...mind you I've been hearing people complain about the biblical references and I never ever noticed them untill the last time I read it. Oh well, I can live with it, makes for a good story.

Silver Chair is the 6th (second last) book, can't really say much more without giving spoilers, does have my favourite character in it though, Puddleglum the Marshwiggle. He is awesome.

The Chronicles of Narnia is 7 books in total, to be read in the order they were written so you should start with The Lion, the With and the Wardrobe followed by the rest in order and last of all The Magicians Nephew which is a prequel, it can be read first but it kinda spoils some of the magic.

The next book is a wee bit random in that it actually takes place while the Pevensies are ruling Narnia.

I ADORE the Narnia Chronicles and everything the stories in them have to offer. It's very sad that the movies for Harry Potter were so basic. They could have done soooooooooo much better... but NO. They had to be so kiddy with them in the start... but they have improved and I'm DYING to see the next 3!!!

Sigh.. to choose between them I could not imagine a world without both stories. So I'm going to be nuts, and say.. I love them both!

Both of the series are pretty good, but I think that Narnia is better.

I'd love to read the Chronicles Of Narnia. I had some of the books at one time or another, but I wasn't interested in it till the movie came out. However, I still prefer Harry Potter over CN. Though I find the CGI animals were awsome in CN!
