School Schedule

Postby salemboy » Friday 15 August 2008 2:52:21am

Here's the place to list all of your school schedules (or college schedules):

A1: Yr: Honors 9
A2: Yr: Computer Animation
A3: Yr: Geometry
A4: Yr: Japanese 3
B1: Yr: Honors 9
B2: Yr: Biology
B3: S1: P.E. Lifetime Sports
B3: S2: Personal Fitness
B4: Yr: Honors 9 Seminar

Yeah, Honors 9 takes up three periods. And 6 out of eight of my periods are advanced classes. Hmm, I wonder if Duckie's taking any advanced classes.

Looks like a good schedule, salemboy. But what exactly is Honors 9?

I'm taking one Honors course at school, but college doesn't really have advanced classes. Here's a list of what I'm taking. In case anyone's wondering, I'm majoring in psychology (which wold explain the vast amount of psychology classes).

Life in the Digital Age (Honors)
Literature and Culture
Intro to Statistics
Personality
Abnormal Psychology

And that's what I'll be doing this semester. Plenty of reading. A couple of those classes have 5 books each.

Honors 9 is advanced L.A. and Social Studies.

Here's how advanced the classes are from top to bottom, where top is least advanced, and bottom is most advanced.

U.S. History/L.A. 9th grade

U.S. History/L.A. 10th grade

Honors 9.

I'm going into ninth grade.

Yeah. Biology is 10th grade science here, too. But they keep changing the math on us in New York so I know that it's not algebra/Math A because I've just taken that. And I don't think thta Math B is until 11th. So that leaves trigonometry or geometry because I know that it's not calculus. I guess I'll find out when I get my schedule.

Lol. I thought 11th grade Japanese was Hungarian.

Hmmm, I quite a bit Hungarian, and yet I only know one word. It's because it sounds like an American swear word, but it means wooden spoon. Actually, Hungarian is one of the hardest languages to learn.

That's interesting. I love the Hungarian Monty Python sketch. But it's rated PG-13.

Yeah same Fawkes!
I'll be doing accelerated English, Maths, Art ( I suck at it though  ) and in the class of accelerated kids, we do one language as a whole grade instead of going to seperate classes. It's either French or Indonesian (sp?) and I really want to do French although I hear it is hard. Apparently there are different words for each gender. My brains are going to be mush by the time I'm out of there
