Distortia's bumping out

Postby Ms. Elsewhere » Tuesday 27 May 2008 3:39:10pm

Hello all,

Wasn't sure where to put this.. but thought u'd like to know. I might go silent for a while because i'm in the middle of exams and on count down for having baby number 2 (as in 3 weeks to due date! I'm a studying mum!) so........... if u don't hear from me , it's not that I don't want to be here, I'm just flat out taking care of an infant! I wish I could be like Tonks and just jump into battle after having a baby.. but hey! there's only so much a muggle like me can do unfortunately :(

Wish me luck! and I hope to come in and out from time to time with sleep deprived comments.

much loyalty and love,

Distortia xx

Congratulations. You must be very proud.

NO! Don't name it Riley. What ever you do, don't name it Riley! Give it a Japanese name. If it's a girl, name it Sakura, if it is a boy Sasuke, or even Tomo, or Nobunaga even. Just don't name it Riley.

lol!

Well, it just so happens that the name was going to be Riley before I ever met Riley... so there's no changing it now. Besides, I can only hope my son has the same passion for HP that the Riley here does! hahah... and likes to write too. My luck though, he'll be more the sporting type, but at least his dad likes to read and even though he doesn't read HP, he appreciates subjects like Narnia and such.....

I'm so excited. 3 weeks and 2 days to go.. (if all goes well....:)

I will DEFINATELY keep you all posted. :)

We're Australian so Distortia DO NOT name it any kind of Japanese name...

I know it's going to be a boy, it's not just luck that we met and my names Riley !! :P

If it were all up to me, my daughter would be Hermione and my son would be Harry... but my husband sez over his dead body... lol!

I can see that. lol. Of course, if I had to name one of my kids (someday, of course, not now, or soon, in fact) after one of the Harry cast, it would be either Fred or Ginny (she's the most like Fred and George).

Why? I just think that Fred and George are the coolest characters in HP, and Ginny is the girl most like them. By the way, that's only if I had to choose an HP name, then I would choose those. Honestly though, I don't really care what I'd name my child yet, because it'll probably be about ten years before I'm even married, let alone being a father.
