Distortia told me about the forums after the other forums that me and her met at basically died and disappeared. After she somehow found this site, she told me about it, and here I am :]

I think Google & Yahoo search are the main culprits !

Paul, make sure your top of the list when people search harry potter related that's how you could boost your sites numbers.

It's difficult for me as an individual to ensure BaO is near the top of the search results pages, although for some HP terms BaO sometimes does quite well. Increasingly links to BaO are really vital - the more links a site has to it, generally the better it ranks in the search results. Links to BaO from any pages, sites or profiles you have are therefore extremely highly appreciated.

I just googled 'harry potter forum' to see where BaO was and it's 10th. Not too bad. I have links to BaO on my blog and on my Harry Potter Dogster group. ;)

Thanks Duckie, and yes, that would be great, Fawkes. For some reason, when searching over here in England on the G search engine, BaO is far out of the top 10 at the moment - hopefully some more links will get us higher again.

It's 11th here. I thought that was pretty impressive to be honest.
