Deathly Hallows WILL be split into 2 movies! *Update*

Finally! I hope they do this. :) There's so much in DH that can't be cut out! I think they should have done this with OotP and HBP, but it's too late now. I really hope they decide to make 2 movies. I'd be so mad if they cut out a bunch of parts. Like the whole Silver Doe chapter, that can't be cut out! And everything from the final battle.

Where does everyone think they should split it? I think a good part would be right before they get caught and taken to the Malfoy manor. Or right after the scene at the Malfoy manor.

And Steve Kloves can't write the script yet due to the writer's strike. :x I hope that ends soon. I was mad about no new episodes of House and Bones, but if this affects HP, I'll be really mad!

I Hope They Don't Do it, because once you have seen the st half then you would have to go and buy the second half, so i think they should jut make it as long as it takes to add EVERYTHING In.

the thing about that is, not everyone is a complete hard-core potter fan, so a lot of people wouldn't go see a movie that long.

It's just like the Lord of the rings.... it's always to be continued. The only reason y they're rushing the potter movies is because of the actors. I think it's brilliant to have 2 movies. JK is so rich, here comes some more coin!

And I'll be right there lined up for the opening nights!

Wow, two movies? That would be awesome! It'd just mean more to look forward to. If they only pushed everything into one movie, there's no way it would be possible to keep most of the story in, because there are so many essential parts to the book that will make the film not make sense if they leave it out. They've already left things out of the movies they've made that affect what happens in Book 7, so they'll have to explain those things further as well, making it even longer. It would only make sense for them to separate it into two movies.

If ONLY. It's too bad all of us HP fans on this forum are scattered all over the world. I have no true die hard fans here anymore to hang out with.. ppl have moved on! I remember when it was so easy to find a dozen ppl willing to dress up to go to the movies. When I go and I see others dressed up I run up to them and say 'awesome costume!" but.. not many do it anymore. (I live in a big city)

They might do a 'Lord of the Rings DVD' on it. Like, show one version at the cinema, sell that version for a few months, then release an extended edition for all the die-hard nerds.

I'd be disappointed if that's what they chose to do, it's like they're charging fans twice for the same product.

It's definately a money making scheme... but I'm hooked! I would buy everything HP there was in the world if I had the money! I like the idea of extended version DVD. Maybe they might even release never seen before footage from the other movies????

I wish I wish I wish.....

Or on the imaginary DVD they would have hillarious versions of teh movie like everyone talking in Pig-Latin, Old-English, and, lego-version like they do in the Super-Ultra-Special-Completely-Final-Amazingly-Awesome-Wonderful-Edition of Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

Yay! It's official! :double jump: Two movies, released in Nov. 2010 and May 2011. Both directed by David Yates and the screen plays written by Steve Kloves.

Imagine how long a HP movie night would be??? Sometimes at the cinemas they have a movie madness night, it would go to the wee hours of the morning I reckon!

(I would do it, would need heaps of chocolate though! lol)
