Because the forum seems to be in a comatos state at the moment, I've come up with some ideas to try and get it running again.
~Have a FanArt Contset
~Have a FanFic Contest
~Give out awards for Best RPGer of 2007 and Craziest Theory of 2007 etc.
What do people think?

They sound like excellent ideas. I've been making some big updates to the HP Merchandise part of BaO over the last few weeks ( at www.broomsticksandowls.com ) but nearly completed most of that...the next thing to do then will be to set up the test Olympus forum (probably 2 or 3 weeks away), and then finally convert the forum to Olympus a week or 2 later. Once we're in Olympus, I'll enable image posting so that the fanart contest can start.

I'm not sure how we'd do competitions but I've been thinking about maybe expanding BaO to include other Magic, Fantasy, and Science fiction worlds. We've got fabulous members here at the moment and a great atmosphere which I'd like to see continue and grow. Expanding into other worlds could maybe increase the membership to make things more active.

the thing about godric is.... (no offence) she can't dance.....

im willing to take you on, though. i can totally dance!

ill bet you could do anything you wanted with some practice scellanis. everyone starts out crapy.i mean, JKR's first story was about a rabbit called rabbit...... :lol:

i think the other worlds is a great idea! i have soooo many other books to recomend and talk about...... :D

Oh, come on Scellanis! I know you're an excellent artist, it would be fun to do FanArt! :grin: I've unfortunatly only done one piece of HP fanart before...a contest would give me a chance to do more! :D

I probably would discontinue going to BaO because Harry potter is the only thing i like .. and if this forum got intergrated with other topics i probably would leave, i know it's pretty dramatic but i would.

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure Harry Potter will always be an integral part of this site.
