Well I have to say, if I paid that much money for a book I'd be rather dissapointed by the quality of the illustrations...but then I am an artist and pictures interest me far more thean words...

i think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one, Scellanis. i personally think the drawings are beautiful, and much better than i could ever do.

Oh well, obviously she should stick to writing not drawing.

Now for an author who really could illustrate his own books you wanna try illustrated The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, he really was a good artist. One of my faves.

I love the drawings! They're simple, but they seem to match the book well. I think they match her handwriting well. I'm an artist, too, and I think that the drawings are quite good.

The drawings are good, i am a artist but I prefer writing, i think she did a very good job on them.
