we know snapes good, but what was up with the severus, please in the 6th book? was dumbledore simply acting? or did he perhaps know that the elder wand had gone to draco, and he knew voldy would find out somehow, so he wanted snape not to kill him yet so he could get his wand back, therefore stopping the elder wands power, and saving draco from voldy?

Dumbledore was asking Snape to kill him. I think it was pretty hard for Snape to do that. If I remember right, Snape paused for a bit before killing him, almost like he wasn't sure if he wanted to do it. Dumbledore was saying please kill him.

It was a good thing that Dace defeated Dumbledore and not Snape though, beccuase if Snape had won the power of the Elder Wander then Voldemort would have gained its power when he killed Snape, inturn killing Harry in the end. Which means that Harry never gains power of the wand and Volde does. Which if this would have happened then Volde would have been able to kill Harry at then end, but since Harry won the wand from Draco and Draco won it from Dumbledore, the whole back firing of the killing curse is possible at the end.

Can someone help me understand this?
So Draco won the Elder Wand from Dumbledore when he took it by force but Harry took Draco's wand from Draco, not the Elder Wand. So how his Harry the rightful owner of the Elder Wand?

If I remember correctly, the wand Harry took from Draco was the Elder Wand. So when Harry beat Draco, and took his wand, he really took the Eder Wand, gaining its ownership. Voldimort didn't know this. He thought Snape gained the wand's ownership because he killed Dumbledor, but that was after Draco dissarmed DD.

It has been a while since I read the book. >_<

No, the wand Harry took was Draco's original wand, not the Elder Wand. But since Harry disarmed him, all of his wands, even the ones he doesn't know he has(i.e., the Elder Wand), go to Harry.

I guess. I really have to re-read the books. I just got to remember to bring them to college with me. (I'm at home for Fall Break at the moment).
