As you probably guessed I would, I voted for OotP too, but have to say there will always be a place in my heart for SS/PS. The first movie brought the books to life...but this current movie was so well done...dark, adolescent angst...better acting...and better special effects.

Order of the Pheonix is my favourite so far. I hope they keep the guy that directed it.

The Sorscer's Stone was the best because it was the beginning of it all!!!! :D I always think the beginnings of any movie or book are the best, movies are books after the original can be good but never the best.

I loved the chamber of secrets, I found it chilling to the bone! But it was really funny when Prof. Lockhart lost his memory LOL.

When Lockhart got blasted into the rock and fell unconcious was the part which was hilarious to me !

In OoTP I love when Ginny blasts the shelves, it's so cool ! 'REDUCTO!'

OOTP all the WAY!!!! XD I loved that movie when the Weasley twins took those fireworks into the O.W.L. exams...it was so funny and really cool.

I liked Draco's face on the one part of the movie with the firework.....

I liked CoS the best, because, in my opinion, OotP was only slightly better than GoF. Also, it had a better wardrobe than in HP3, and better creature animations than in HP1.

I can't believe so many really liked the film that murdered my favourite character! And for that pure reason I have gone for POA when he actually comes into the series. I've watched it so many times, I now have to buy a new DVD of it as I've worn it out!

Also in OOTP they missed out so much, proper coverage of the Quidditch World Cup, the teenage angst stuff that I found really funny in the book and there were things I imagined in my head that didn't come across on screen like I imagined, eg. when the globes were broken in the book, out emerged a wispy ghost like image which replayed the prophecies. Sure there were wispy bits but where were the prophecies?

PoA is definitely the best movie. It's filming and effects give it just the right air of magic and fear for me. Though PoA isn't my favorite book, the movie was definitely done the best.

You are so right Fawkes! GOF is my favourite book but PoA is a much better film!

Personally, my favorite is the Philosophers Stone (or Sorcerers Stone), but I find the newest movie, The Half-Blood Prince to be hillarious thanks to Hermione avoiding a certain creepy, lovestruck boy, and Harry's "But I am the Chosen One" wack!

Oh, and I liked the dementors in the third movie more than the ones in the fifth. They looked more...reaper-like.

I agree, the ones in the fifth were too skeletal for me.
