*notices that it is raining outside

wishes she was home, sitting in front the window with a nice warm blanket arround and a glass of red wine, staring outside*

We've had floods pretty much all over the country- a month's worth of rain in a single day, and there were two seperate days it occured on! Needless to say, I've been resembling a drowned rat for the past week-ish. :-(

Take it, take it all! I'm sick of doing Ecological studies in the rain/mud- I'm a Biochemist, Geneticist and Lab Forensic Scientist; not a plant Biologist or Ecologist...
The joys of compulsory A2 Biology modules...

We had a thunderstorm today! The power was out for a little while. But we did need the rain. :) Can't believe I'm saying that, it's the year anniversary of the biggest flood my area's ever seen.

Darn it- more rain expected over the weekend, and I rambled about my Biology...sorry 'bout that! I'm just more used to speaking with teachers rather than normal people.

As for how many inches, I'm not sure- but I have found some local pictures:

Isn't British weather wonderful?
