Exactly. Even if it was called the death room. i read in a book that there was an Ancient Greek thing like that whee all of the dead went since they didn't go to heaven.

First of all, JKR has said that the 2 way mirror will return in the series which gives me some kind of indication that Sirius will be able to communicate with Harry again whether he come back from where he is or not...

And back onto the subject that I came here to write about, the title of the book...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Isn't Hallows another word for Gallows, or a hanging?

I have a few theories stemming from that but I don't know how accurate it is until I know that for sure.

There is also this theory that is not mine but I thought I'd share with you guys stemming from Arthurian legend and the quest for the Holy Grail. There are 4 "Hallows" that they are searching for:

The Holy Grail
The Broken Sword
The Stone/The Dish/The Pentacle
The Spear of Destiny

The title refers to Harry's search for Voldemort's "Hallows" or the horcruxes, the 4 the belonged to the 4 Hogwarts founders.

Hufflepuffs cup=the Holy grail
Gryfindor's Sword=The Broken Sword
Slytherins Locket=The Stone/Dish/Pentacle
Ravenclaws Wand=The Spear of Destiny

The deathly part in this theory is obvious, It's a deathly quest and in the end when all horcruxes found and destroyed, LV will be able to face his own death at the hands of HP.

Do I ramble? lol

Oh my gosh! I cannot believe that I frgot about that! YOu may have something.
But what if the "Deathly Hallows" is refering to another thing that we already know about and has played an important part of the story. The title may in fact be refering to the place behind the veil. A hallow where death lies. And that's why it's called the death room. And if there's a death room, could there also be a life room which would be able cause people to come back from behind the veil? Could Harry get Sirius back that way?

Thats some great thinking there, I think you might be onto something too! But what about the other horcruxes? At first I thought maybe that makes sense because the ones you didn't mention were the ones Harry had already found and destroyed... but no thats not it at all!!

Well maybe in this story there are just simply more than 4 Hallows? We know there are 6 Horcruxes, 2 have been destroyed and LV didn't get all of the artifacts he wanted from the 4 founders before his first down fall so when he had enough power to create another, he used his snake. But in the official count, There are only 4 Horcruxes, or Hallows, left....

Just a thought...
