okay, how about alaina sees the murder, and the murderer knows that if we know, they could likely get caught. so they kidnap alaina, and the des block diagon alley to make sure we don't leave and alert the public.

I just don't like the kid-knapping idea for thhis point in the story. And I have a way for us to get out. My last post might give you a hint.

Godric sounds right...
In a sense that DEs would silence someone by killing instead of kidnapping
and since it is the darkest time in magical history, lets make it more... DARK... *evil*

Youknowwho and I were talking about it this the other night. We came up with the idea that the kidnapper needs Alaina to help him with learning about muggles because he's going to plan an attack on muggles or something. And the kidnapper chose Alaina because she's the youngest muggle born (she knows less magic to put up a struggle). And if we do this, youknowwho wants to be the kidnapper.

we can have the best of 2 worlds.
anything can happen in Diagon Alley.

DEs can surprise attack, leading to confusion. Everyone lost contact with each other. Kidnapper strikes. Someone else happens to see it and tries to reach the others for help.

The next time DEs attack, it would be on a muggle street or something.

Ooooh I'm so evil

Hi everybody! Sounds like you've got a good storyline going on here...

I'm not toooo much into this Scenario, so I'm going to kill off my character somehow. I've done it before (awesomely) in the only RPG Scenario that was ever completed right to the end! That was Hogwarts Spring Dance! We made a failed spin-off of that too, by the way... The Rebellion of Souls.

My point is that because y'all are so into this thing, I'll let you try and decide a decent way for Eddy Bones to die. I have a few ideas... but this is your Scenario mostly, so it might be nice for you to decide.

He has some sort of Potion of Death on him, so I thought perhaps he could attempt to kill Alphonse, but fail... and be killed somehow by one of your characters, or drink the Potion himself, or something along those lines...

PITA! I have an idea! You can be in charge of the attack! Because you're already under the imperious curse. And YouKnowWho can be the one who put you under! Unless you want to die. :-?

Or the four of us stop the DE's. Or when you throw it off if you're going to, then you can committ suicide in order to save your family. Or one of us kills you to save your family! Throw in some heroics, there!

I definitely think some heroic action is a must.

Okay, so under the influence of the Imperius Curse, Eddy attempts to poison Alphonse, but you guys fight him off, and he apparates away.

Then he overcomes the Imperius, realises what he's done and goes after the DEs. And they kill him.

Any chance Raylene can be involved, guys? I'd forgotten that I'd left her gazing into her crystal, and should either get her back into the plotline or make sure she can no longer be involved. If not it's okay, I'll work around your story.
